    I like to play cricket... - but not on a computer;
    Fielding's fun, it's like playing catch with rules (probably the stupidest and smartest thing I've ever said) and to a degree, I stand by it, because fielding's fun; cricket's fun.
    Then you get to bowl, and protect the wickets, hit the ball and do your runs...

    I want to play cricket, wanna fly to London for a game of cricket?
    Gosh, talking about cricket makes me want to play cricket; would never watch it, or follow it, but it's kind of fun to play.

    Heck of a sport for sure. Small wonder why the IPL Championship draws a far larger audience than does the World Series - by a very large margin!

    Have you heard of The Oval cricket ground?
    Have you heard of UK county cricket?

    lol

    I don't follow it but The Oval's in town.

    It's actually what you might call 'in the Projects' but it's also really Posh 'The Oval, not the surrounding projects'..
    'It is what it is, to me it's a point in Kennington (between Westminster and Brixton) and an Underground Station/Subway Station.

    Sure - I know about county cric. But my fave is CPL. We don't have the tall and fierce lightning paced bowlers and hard hitting batsmen of the past, but it does still make for good cric.

    Be great if we could have the likes of Sir Vivian, Whispering Death, or even a King Dyal. Gosh, those were awesome days!
