G'day all, I'm a Conservative who's looking forward to crossing rapiers of wit with my political opponents here in the arena of ideals. Let the squawking commence!
Welcome. I'm a former conservative, leaning more libertarian now. I'll both agree and disagree with you
Ciao! I like to Moonwalk about in some of the threads here. Other times, mosh pit type waltzing serves its purpose.
I might, but since you think the definition is in constant flux, perhaps you could explain what you think it is as of this moment. Then we can more efficiently compare notes.
Ah, I was making your question more complicated than it needed to be. I'm an atheist who believes in a mix of American Conservatism: American Conservatism is a broad system of political beliefs in the United States that is characterized by respect for American traditions, support for Judeo-Christian values, economic liberalism, anti-communism, and a defense of Western culture. Liberty is a core value, with a particular emphasis on strengthening the free market, limiting the size and scope of government, and opposition to high taxes and government or labor union encroachment on the entrepreneur. American conservatives consider individual liberty, within the bounds of conformity to American values, as the fundamental trait of democracy, which contrasts with modern American liberals, who generally place a greater value on Social equity and social justice. and Classical Liberalism: Classical liberalism is a political ideology and a branch of liberalism which advocates civil liberties and political freedom with representative democracy under the rule of law and emphasizes economic freedom.
Thanx...you seem to be a Reagan Conservative as I am. A rarity anymore with this new version evolved from the TP nightmare.
