I know democrats that are complaining about Biden's policies that say they still won't vote Trump

I am on topic and I have been on topic. You just don’t like you failures pointed out.

Dirty Donnie let it in and then did nothing about it. Largest failure of responsibility and policy in the history of the US. No one will vote for a failure that huge.

Trump is a dictator. People don't want a dictator no matter what. Plus he will add $10 trillion every 4 years which is unsustainable.

What policies? A presidents first term fiscal year doesn't begin until October 1st.

Joe's getting the covid relief package passed, that is a major piece of legislation.

Next on the list is an infrastructure bill, which was unable to do.

Contempt for Trump is reasonable, given the damage he has done to America.

How much money in the "covid" relief package actually has to do with COVID?

There appears to a perception problem here that has nothing to do with Democrats.

Most Americans are repulsed by Donald Trump and what he represents.

In 2016 he lost the popular vote by 2,868,828 votes. The stars aligned for him to win the EC by razor thin margins in battle ground states with depressed turnout. A fluke.

His average approval rating while in office was 41% never rising to 50%.

To send the unpopular message home he lost in 2020 by 7,052,770 votes or our “hell no” vote.

In four years he managed to lose the Republican Party the House, Senate, and Presidency.

The man, what he represents—his “policies” are toxic. Most Americans have not nor will they ever cast a vote for Donald Trump.

The only thing baffling occurring now is the behavior of the Republican Party. It’s embrace of a demonstrated toxic loser.

I agreed with most of your post, except for the spin and LIES part.
Explain how his policies are "Toxic".
If your only example is the Travel ban then feel free to PROVE the ban was ONLY on muslim majorty countries.
Beyond that, I don't think you can really prove toxicity in ANY of this policies, they were mostly logical and common sense driven policy
As far as some Republicans not likely to vote for him, I agree completely and probably should have mentioned never-trump republicans in my OP (too late to change it now though)

What if he had all super progressive policies you liked better than what democrats were proposing, would you vote for him then?

Considering his track record for lying, I seriously doubt there's anything the Rump can promise a Democrat.

Every person uses emotions to make any decision. We are Humans, not Vulcans, in fact, we could say that we don't even teach (as a nation) the proper use of logic. This is the least logical nation of any of the 1st world countries.

What anyone who studies politics and sociology looks for is consistency and in that measure, Conservatives have sold out. They used to be the party of "values", but we have seen a continual erosion of that banner for quite some time since 2000. The election and adoration of the Rump run so counter the "values" that they have proclaimed for so long, that it is meaningless.

Thanks for proving my point. Most of the left doesn't vote on policy. You have served your CNN and MSNBC Masters well!
To the righties in here, THIS is why Trump shouldn't run again. It doesn't matter HOW good his policies are, the left is still gonna do as their told and not think for themselves.
you guys are making a YUGE mistake by going all in on Trump again
    @Rampart
Thanks for proving the point in the OP

If we wish to keep our present large scale businesses and corporations we cannot afford to let our population decline which it will definitely do without immigrants. Our birth rate is abysmal and has been for quite a while we have more dying than being born, we need immigrants far more than they need us.

How is that any different than people voting for Trump just to not have Biden?

Further, I don't believe it's accurate to think people HATE Trump. I don't care for his personality and was insulted and embarrassed by his behavior after the election but I don't hate him.

    1) you are a rare breed...i've seen your posts and they are mostly logic based and non-antagonizing (you represent about 0.000000000000001 % of the left)
    2) your question (how is that any different than people voting for Trump just to not have Biden) is hard to answer.
If the lefty candidate was someone better, like Tulsi Gabbard, the right would have a way more difficult time voting. I do agree with you that this can work both ways on some level but from what I've seen and conversations I've had with people in real life is that most people that voted biden (about 65% of my whole family) NEVER mention a policy. When I talk to people I know about Trump losing, they don't rush to bash Biden, they rush to bash the policies of the left (high taxes, unlimited illegal immigration and so on)
I do feel there IS definitely a difference of one side voting on policy and one side voting on emotion..and I also know this cannot be applied to ALL people on EITHER side...this is just based on my experiences

    1. I try to be civil with everyone. I'm not perfect, just not prone to outbursts. LOL

    2. Your experiences and mine are the exact opposite. I get to hear about how awful Biden is every single day. None of the people saying it have a specific reason other than "he's just awful". I called some of my friends after the election to ask them when they were leaving the country (ha ha) since they all promised that if Biden was elected.

The point is BOTH sides think the other side is nuts. That's what happen when the super rich and powerful set up these competitions to keep us divided. They all get to sit back and laugh as we "clutch the pearls" over everything.

I would not vote for a candidate for president, who i knew was only going to serve one term. So no, I'll not vote for Trump in 2024. He'd spend the majority of his time trying to undo Biden's messes. I'd rather vote for a president who I feel can serve two term and accomplish their goals over eight years.

We know Biden can only serve one term, which begs the question, why in the hell would people elect a one term president? Especially when his VP is despised and distrusted by the vast majority of the population.

Agree with all of the above. With regards to Harris, she is the first non-white and first female VP and I feel like that could carry her (just my opinion, i have no facts to back this up)

I don't think people voted for Trump just to not have Biden. Trump's policies were good for the nation, good for jobs, the economy, good for everyone. His foreign policies were resulting in peace agreements, and he was the first president. in forty years, to not get the US involved in a new war or conflict.

I did not like Trump on a personal level either, but then there are some corporate CEOs, musicians and actors I don't like personally, but I enjoy the product they produce. I liked the results of Trump's foreign and domestic policies, even if I didn't like him.
