You don't think planets should have similar basic properties like "shape?"

Why should the Earth be the only naturally occurring flat planet in the Universe?

If it met the requirements of being a planet then I would agree that it would be a bit odd.

There are eight planets in our solar system, of which the Earth is one of them.

Why would gravity shape all matter into a spherical shape, all planets, all moons, all suns... but not the "Earth?"

Do you think we are on a sheet of paper?

Frankly, the day we photographed the Earth from space was the day your theory died.

Yes, if you believe the earth meets the requirements of being a planet and you believe gravity has shaped them all accordingly.

Yes, if you believe in the photographs it would make sense that you believe that it would be debunked. With their unworthy history I would not trust much
Of what they do or say. They have been caught with manipulated photos, but maybe it was just once right?

The Earth met the requirements of a "planet."

Gravity draws inward. In a three dimensional space, attracted matter would form a sphere.
We have hundreds hours of video feeds from space from multiple sources.

Where is your proof that the Earth is flat?

Where is your proof of a third dimension?

Yes, NASA and KFC have done amazing things with video and photo manipulation. They have been caught before doing so. They have produced
Images and technology which continues to keep the exorbitant budgets comming in. NASA has helped othe countries develope their space programs as well and they profit off of all of them. KFC expands its empire all over the earth. My current avatar is a map depicting the imperialism that Colonel Sanders has achieved, not through delicious chicken, but through sheer force and cunning.

Okay, I am going to answer the original question in a super serious manner. Time is the measurement of movement, so If there's movement, there's time. When there's no movement in the universe, there's no time.

In Earth time is perceived according to the movement of Earth, Moon and the Sun.

You argumented it wrongly, Joe. It is easier. We have satellites that give a vision of the Earth, and we see that is round.

Can you move in a plane, no? Then you have two dimension world. You can jump, no? Then you have the third dimension world. We live in three dimensions not two.

No, we have stratellites and pseudollites.

Yes we all know, the comment in question was regarding a third dimension creating a spherical earth.

You can't have anything plane in a three dimension world.

Nobody has said that either. Cylindrical is the correct way of explaining the shape of the earth, think of a pie chart.

Actually, cylindrical would better describe a can of corn, lol. The earth is spherical, not cylindrical. Sorry I'm being a dick.

    This is simple:

    2. Step to your right, then your left.
    3. Step forward, then backward.
    4. Jump up and come back down.

    That's three detentions.
He doesn't believe that satellites exist, so his argument is tinfoil-hat worthy.

You simply have faith in something you have not actually observed. The dimension question was more or less directed towards the fact that it did not come close towards disproving the theory.

And if it is tin foil hat worthy, why spend so much time on it? A reflection of your own head gear perhaps?

I have observed three dimensional space. It's called going outside and looking around.
If you can look at this and still not understand 3D, what's the point?

Well you can start by pointing out you missing the point of my dimension proposal, not asking you to prove 3D, as that is entirely clear, but to prove why the earth may not be cylindrical, (flat on top)
With a third dimension. In all fairness I could have been more specific in my inquiry.

I know I said I would wash my hands of this thread but bad conspiracy theories are like crack to me :p...

If as you say all objects on earth on not kept on the surface by gravity but by the constant acceleration of the earth and it's surrounding heavenly bodies "upwards"; what force constantly provides 9.8 m/s^2 acceleration to what is believed to be a 5.9722 × 10^24 kg object, not to mention the other heavenly bodies.

Dark Energy (DE), this has already been explained.

What is dark energy and how does it work?
