I don't claim to fully understand what it means that the name "Azazel" is there in Leviticus 16"10 in the original Hebrew but.....

surely YHWH would not put that name there to play any sort of practical joke on Azazel....whoever Azazel is??????!!!!

Surely there is HOPE for the unsaved deceased..... and the name Azazel in Leviticus hints at something huge that is happening in the invisible realms around us and yes..... the fallen Watchers are definitely connected to "ALIENS" as the Book of Enoch makes abundantly clear.

We don't need to understand the details of the Desert God Azazel -- only that YHWH saw fit to offer sacrifice to appease this God .. encountering Gods a normal thing for YHWH -- unfortunately losing the Battle to the God of the Moabites .. Chemosh ... but losing one battle does not make a war .. YHWH eventually Triumphing over the 69 Sons of The Supreme One - EL Oliun - vying for who gets to be Chief God on Earth .. Usurping the position of EL .. who then takes his place as head of the Divine Council in the Heavens

detailed for us in Psalm 82 -- 1. YHWH stands in the assembly of El; in the midst of the gods he renders judgment.

The rest of Ps 82 has YHWH defeating the "Sons of the Supreme one" The Supreme one obviously EL .. as it these sure are not YHWH's kids.
Unfortunately the triumph does not last for ever .. YHWH is eventually destroyed by Marduk .. the place where his name resides .. wiped out of existence. and there was never any coming back from that .. like Baal came back from Mot .. the God Resurrected by Judaism under Persia was not "YHWH" but the God of the Annointed one of God.. I don't know that this means Ha Satan is necessarily related to Azazel but .. perhaps someone can make something of it. In a way... .this would make Azazel something like a son in law to Adam and Eve because it mentions in the Book of Enoch that the children and grandchildren of the Watchers and the daughters of Cain and Luluwa were giants... and they became predatory and even cannibalistic. Thus the earth was filled with violence before the flood of the time of Noah.

I have read a lot of conflicting information about MelchiZedek over the years......

I really don't know who he really was.....
but it sure does sound as if aliens and angels and fallen angels had a lot of contact with humans in the past.....

This Psalm seems to get at the core of the conflict that Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus had with the Scribes and Pharisees.....

The Scribes and Pharisees could not imagine that one of The Elohim had breathed something into their grandparents Adam and Eve that made them truly also "Children of G-d ... El... the Elohim."

I love the idea of their truly being Seventy..... as opposed to merely fourteen...... that sure does make sense...... One true Son and Daughter of El for every nation on earth!

And I do believe that millions and millions and millions and millions of true Children of El ... G-d... Elohim are being prepared right now!

I believe that Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus played out the role of Messiah the Passover Lamb......
and now in 2024 i believe that a modern Yom Kippur event is being prepared......

and it could be many practitioners of the occult who do a radical turn around in their lives.....

I believe that as the hidden meaning in Yom Kippur is worked out.....

the person being referred to as "my Lord" is King David .. the anointed one of God .. a Priest forever of the Order Melchi-Zedek.

This priesthood continues .. perhaps unto the next anointed one King Cyrus -- this is complicated but reasonable speculation .. What is not speculation is that the next anointed one of God is Jesus .. like David before him and possibly Cyrus .. is Hebrews 6: 20 where Jesus our forerunner entered on our behalf, since he became a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

Getting to your question about the Pharisees .. In Judaism you have two paths .. or rather 2 schools .. the Hillel school .. and the other who's name I cant remember .. look it up if you like Now you know there are two priesthoods .. that of EL .. that of YHWH .. begging the rhetorical question "Which was the priesthood of Jesus" !
