Visit "The Wooden Nickel" in Hillsborough, NC. Have a big-ass basket of chicken wings, and a local microbrew, or four. Tell them Hotdogr sent her and they'll call me. I'll come pick her up on my Harley and give her the terrifying VIP tour.... after she signs a "waiver of liability"... a mere formality of course.

The northern 1/3 of the Greatest State of California.
From San Francisco drive 6 hours north on the 101 to Eureka.
Find a good B & B in an old Victorian house and branch out from there
on small trips. Avenue of the Giants, a spectacular drive around an old growth forest off the 101. Lady Bird Johnson Grove. Redwood National Park encompassing Prairie Creek State Park and a don't miss it - the half mile long "Fern Canyon". Totally Jurassic.
The restaurants are mostly independents and really fine food.
Dress is as you are because it is often rainy to support Rain Forests.
The shoreline is spectacular with cold, dangerous waves and old redwood logs that were flooded down there and sculptured rocks.

If you saw the movie, "Outbreak", it was filmed near there in Ferndale.
Big trees are all around, you don't have to travel to them.
And if you are lucky, you may see the Banana Slugs come out of hiding.

They like it misty or rainy.

Don't know if everyone would find the banana slugs an inducement to visit, Moi.

There is a cult love for banana slugs in the coastal redwood rain forest country.

Something about them makes people like them.
They really, really like them. Not to eat.

Empire State Building important scene in one of the best movies ever, An Affair To Remember. Cary Grant,Debra Kerr

If you get as far south as Georgia why not visit the biggest rock on the planet' Stone Mountain. A long climb or take the skylift.

Take a good look because liberals want it blown off and Obama put in its place. It is 'racist'.

When I planned my trip to America, me and a loyal friend weren't talking and, even though I looked forward to coming back to Soho maybe from America, I'm looking forward now to coming back to my friend.
In fact, I'm kind of glad I had to wait back pay from Student Finance. So now I can book this trip and be out there/America looking forward to come back to England/and having a good time.
I made this thread and planned this trip I'm getting ready to book when me and my friend had fallen out for a year or 2...
I'm glad I have my friend and I'm for sure I was wrong when I said what I posted, because, any escape from home, I don't need, and look forward to coming home as much as I look forward to the trip.
