ICE is targeting 'sanctuary cities' with raids

Maybe she should shut her trap and enforce the law. She doesn't get to decide which laws she likes and refuse to enforce the one's she doesn't. If she thinks that's the way it works then she should resign and find another line of work.

The so called "sanctuary" policies adopted by various entities need to come with a cost. Targeting them with increased enforcement only makes sense. The "sanctuary" status of the location would only serve to create a gathering place for the same people we seek to deport, so naturally they have pinned a target on their own backs for enhanced enforcement. Somehow, those "sanctuary" locations seemed to think by deeming themselves a "sanctuary" that ICE would see that as some kind of line they shouldn't cross....right? WRONG! All I can say to ICE who has been muzzled and chained up by the Obama administration, free at last....to do their jobs they way they were meant to, Thanks President Trump.

 

You have to wonder how stupid liberal leaders can be when they publically announce that they're going to be a sanctuary city; I mean, why not just install yuge signs and billboards saying this is where the illegals are?

One of the crazy parts of the story is the claim that ICE specifically targeted this area, so what? And what if they did, lemme guess, racist! Bigoted! Brownophobic!

It's nice to see the law finally being enforced.

ICE should put up signs reading "Sanctuary City" and "Sanctuary Safe House." (wink wink)

It would make it easier to find them if they gather together or just turn themselves in.

 

If you are a Mayor and declare your city a sanctuary city, you should be arrested immediately. Remove them from their positions and get Mayors who actually respect the federal Laws and will help protect it's legal and law abiding citizens.

One of the "progressive" imbeciles in Montgomery County who is trying to make life easier for undocumented rapists, Marice Morales, bleated that she rejected the inconvenient fact that illegal immigrants are criminals. Evidently, she can't wrap her tiny little brain around the concept of illegal.

 

A good deal of them are undocumented pharmacists as well. lol

 

I like the "undocumented democrat" label myself.

 

That's what I'm talking about. Identity theft is a serious problem and a felonious crime. I think any public official that mandates a "sanctuary" status should be charged as an accessory to what ever crimes illegals commit in that jurisdiction...no plea bargains.

 

More wasting time with ICE raids that won't help to curb illegal immigration in the long term. Republicans finally gain control, yet are making all the wrong moves. Even a fifth grader could tell you that deportation will not solve the issue. I think all Americans will know Republicans are on the right track, when announcements come out that legal provisions are being written so Sanctuary Cities can continue to operate, and funding on ICE operations are being slashed more than half. When will not just you, but Republicans are a whole understand there is no real "need" to deport anyone, rather you have simply convinced yourself there is a "need" to deport.

There is no denying being a part of ICE is one of the most embarrassing and unpatriotic jobs any one American can have, bar none. The faster we kill off ICE, like the DEA, the faster we can actually start making more process instead of continuing to chase our tails. Sorry Professor, you're simply wrong on this.

 

And even if we deported every single undocumented immigrant in this country, you think that would result in the end of illegal immigration? Please tell me you're not this dense. What you think is "enforcing the law" is really just continuing to chase your tail, hopefully the quick fix will solve everything. You shouldn't be asking how stupid liberal leaders are, but that of your own party. How anyone thinks ICE isn't a wasteful resource is beyond comprehension.

Any of these would make a fine detention facility to store illegals either while they wait for immigration court or for their home country to accept them back.

 

Why? Because letting them stay and drain $25 Billion out of our economy works so well.

 

Where I live I'm frequently driving through Border Patrol check points and they're suddenly getting a little more aggressive, they even brought back the dogs. Earlier this week I asked one of them if things have changed since January, and the guy told me that the illegals used to come over in 'droves' in El Paso, but for some strange and unknown reason they stopped late last January. The threat of deportation and actually following through with it seems to have Mexicans thinking twice about going through all the trouble of coming here.

 

Targeting sanctuary cities for illegals makes about as much sense as targeting mosques for suicide bombers.

 

If you're looking for water, you look for the well not puddles.

 

And I will say again, if we made becoming a US citizen so much easier, and slash over half the time it takes, do you think there will be as much incentive to be an illegal immigrant in the first place? That's where the focus needs to go, not on deportation. Focus toward what will make progress in the long term.
