Sounds like a great lawsuit against the City of New York. Were it not for NYC's sanctuary policy of shielding illegals from deportation, the perpetrator would not have been in the country to kill the 92 year old woman. They need to sue the city, the New York Police Department and everyone involved with cutting this menace loose on society need to be named too.
What’s a few dead people when you can set up Democrat strongholds for decades gathering millions of illegals who pump out generations of future Dem voters, poor, uneducated and completely reliant on govt for all basic needs? They’re not in it to make the country better. They want as many dependent people as possible because those with no hope will hand their vote over to whoever promises to give them the most free ****.
Why are Republicans in congress — especially when they held majorities — not addressing this on a national level? Simply withholding highway funds or making the local representatives be held responsible to a degree for any crimes by illegals in areas that do not comply and assist in removing illegals? The problem could be ended if either side actually wanted to end it.
Trump tried to cut federal dollars to sanctuary cities but, I believe, the courts shot it down. Everything Trump has tried to do to prevent illegal immigration has been ferociously fought by the left. The GOP appears to not want to touch this even though they say they do. That makes me wonder if they don't want to pick a fight they know they'll lose because they're out numbered by the left, or if they're somehow benefiting from illegals. Right now NYC is in a bad place. They're releasing violent criminal illegals onto the streets and they're also releasing violent criminals without bail. When I first heard about that no bail thing my first thought was it was being done to protect illegals.
I don’t believe trump has really tried to do much besides rhetoric and the wall — which even policy experts say will not attacks the root of the issue. His own properties utilize illegal immigrants as labor so I doubt he will make serious efforts to address it. As for why Republicans have made no serious efforts, especially in deep red states, the only thing I can think of is agriculture — that or they can use it as a campaign wedge like the national debt... if they actually fix it there is nothing left to campaign on...
I suppose its only fair to blame the left for this tragedy since the left blames the right for every death of a child while in ICE custody. Fair's fair.

There is no standing for a lawsuit but maybe interested people should picket the Mayor, City Council, and police department and engage in a propaganda program against them. Sometimes shaming is very effective.

The left has sued Trump for about every move he's made involving immigration. The women's death is 100% at the feet of the Republican's! That is where the blames is! For decades, Republican businessman have been the primary businesses who have been ruthless to hire illegals and use them without proper wages, safety, and controls. Republicans have made billions using our underclass to avoid making America better. While Democrats have had their part in that too, Republicans have fought against keeping the health care, wages and safe jobs would make hiring an American rather buying illegals. Even Trump didn't bother, and was glad to make profits the same way! Hey Republicans, how about stopped the illegals by simply installing a database of legal worker database! To get a job, or for anyone to work even as a vendor, anyone going to hire someone or to buy someone, the employer or buyer can check their card (they dont even need to see the card!). Legal person? Fine! Not checkd in the database? Don't hire or buy! The problem is solved! But no one wants it to work! A wall will not work, none of that will work.
When the Dems decide to solve the problem by attacking the Republican businessmen, and forcing them to start turning in illegals to ICE, then your argument will have merit. Until then, it's a problem the Dem's own lock, stock, and barrel.
No, because the right says the illegals shouldn’t be allowed in at all. They cross the border (illegally) while deathly ill and then die after a few days. That’s not the fault of the right wing.
