Chicago does not have low gun deaths. I said name a place with low gun deaths. I agree you can have gun control on paper and not have low gun deaths. It is due to enforcement. But you can NOT have low deaths WITHOUT gun control
And that is about as factual as. Ice cream production is closely correllated with the rate of forcible rape. Yes, that's right — Professor Eugene Volokh, of the prestigious UCLA School of Law and the even more prestigious Volokh Conspiracy Web log, has uncovered scientific evidence that ice cream production is closely correlated with the forcible rape rate. Professor Volokh used 2000 data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Uniform Crime Reports, and 2000 data from the international Dairy Foods Association's Dairy Facts publication; the correlation was 0.84, which is very high (1 would be a perfect correlation and 0 would be no correlation at all) and statistically significant. Unfortunately, data on monthly ice cream consumption was unavailable, but ice cream production data seems likely to be a good rough proxy for ice cream consumption. For the spreadsheet containing this data — The Volokh Conspiracy is a stickler for openness in research
Sorry you don't get to control the narrative. And to that this short video describes debating anything about guns with you. End of conversation.
You are free to end the conversation at any time. But I can never seem to get an answer to this question Name a large city, state or country with lax gun laws and low gun deaths
I mean we've got quite a few plus whole metric tons we've not brought back over yet. We could certainly make inroads and honestly you're not going to get 100 million people to sign up, plus you only need to fill the gaps of non-owners. I really can't believe this hasn't been a part of the grabbers curriculum because it allows backdoor registration essentially
Jesus not this **** again. You're trying to use dicta mentioning that Heller applies to the issue at hand only (you know... which is what the court has power over, they don't just get to say anything) as Scalia supporting gun control. You've been told about this. Multiple times.
You honestly think that Scalia did not feel we can have gun control and the second amendment in this country at thwe same time? Really? Of course we can
A friend of mine has a .308 that looks like an AR-15 and that thing has one heck of a kick and with a JHP punched a hole right through one of my AR500 knock-over targets.
You can have gun control, its just that each measure you've tried is an infringement that wouldn't work within the bounds of the 2nd amendment. Want to know what gun control you can have? Laws against reckless discharge or brandishing, enhancements for using a firearm in a crime, and compulsory militia service.
You have an opinion which is fine but it is not a fact. Pass the laws and let scotus decide. Theirs is the only opinion that counts
Excepting compulsory militia service, most, if not all states already have those laws on the books. As I am sure you already know lots of others have been tried and later shot down on appeal and considering the current makeup of the USSC over the next few decades more will be shot down as time pass's. Which is a good thing, gun laws have been proven to not work, as criminals do not care about laws, if they did they wouldn't be criminals. But don't try explaining that to a troll.
The anti-gun Left also predicted there'd be regular gunfights in the streets with concealed carry. They were wrong as usual. Just unsubstantiated fear-mongering on their part.
Has it not been a Bushmaster brand AR-15 in each mass shooting where the rifle malfunctioned, jammed, or was otherwise rendered inoperable, thus saving lives in the process?
Never heard that one. More probably any jam was operator error (e.g. failed to break-in a new rifle, failed to clean rifle, used cheap ammunition) than design error. Do you have any references?
Why? What good would it do? Anyone who has been paying attention to the Democrat's efforts to ban guns since the Clinton administration knows what I'm talking about.
