If African Americans were in Africa

Imagine African Americans were never slaves in America. Imagine they were never brought in America with ships. Would they have been better off compared to their "cousins" that remained in Africa? Did they gained from being slaves in America? Lost?

Let's think about it.

 

You're assuming all blacks in Africa have the same quality of life.

They don't just like people here don't.

Would your ancestors and you been better off if your ancestors had stayed in their home country? The citizens from Africa are every bit as American as you or me.

 

It is impossible to compare generations of people you have no idea of what their living conditions were like..or would have been like other than from your speculations.

It is a moronic parlor game better left to contemplate what it be like if your dog was born a cat.

 

No, they gained from being alive in America, only because it would eventually outlaw slavery.

 

Africa would have been better off without the Europeans trying to slice and dice the continent up for their empires.

If they were still in Africa that assumes there had never been African slavery and we all would be much better off if that had never happened. Lots fewer wars and maybe no colonizing of the Americas. Most importantly scientific revolution 200/300 years sooner and we all be in robotic paradise by now

 

Your post is wrong on many points. African american in america are a result of the atlantic slave trade, so if there were no african american in the US, it would at best assume there wouldn't have been any atlantic slave trade, which let the arabic slave trade which started sooner and the inner african slave trade.
Furthermore, as far as I know, Africa was still let developped in 1400 than China or some part of Europe.
And furthermore "Africa" is not a country or a nationality. There is dozen of african ethnic groups, and there is still a lot of tensions between ethnic groups.
The whole african identity exist since the colonization, there is rarely few things than a common ennemy (the whiteys) to give a common ennemy.

That's why sometimes I hope for an alien invasion.

 

I've always said that importing African slaves into America wasn't a good idea.

s too, that is where the word slave comes from aka Slav as in Slavic. The blonde's were the most sought after, known as White Golden slaves. Not only because the women were rare and beautiful but the men were tall and strong. Whites were the tallest people in the world at that time and still today actually.
Arabs invaded Africa in the early 1500s and Africa always used it's own people for slave even before then. They sold them to nation's all over the world not just Europe and late on America.
They still sell their own today and Christians go there to buy their freedom TODAY.

That's not to say that African Americans should be thankful for slavery. America's history of slavery was horrible.

Tell the Queen of Spain that and the other nations who Africa sold their people to. Columbus brought in the first slaves to America long before we white Europeans came into the picture here. Spain and some French of course were here first. The first American massacre was in Florida when Spanish catholics slaughtered the French Huguenots for being protestant.
People don't know crap about history so they base their beliefs on propaganda half truths and lies.

 

Nobody here says slavery is or ever was a good thing. It is just the new agers act as though the white man was the only race in the world to ever own or be involved in slaves,when that is a damn lie to persecute one race of people and tear down the nations they built from scratch.

Today our political judicial and academics is being ruled by non American immigrants and their socialist anti-American allies.

I agree with some blacks who resent being called "African American".
When I hear that term, my first inclination is to wonder what year that person immigrated from Africa.

 

Well, you can't just call them "blacks" and God forbid, "*****s" now can you? You will be called "racist" at once.

 

I prefer "people" and "Americans".
Democrats prefer divisive labels. Such as "African Americans".
