If by chance Biden wins the presidency how long before he's impeached?

Empirical reality. Public surveys have been consistent and relentless. Nor has there been any legislation that Trump has signed into law to improve the nation's healthcare plight or address climate change.
You'll have to wait and see,
Evidence, where there is any actual malfeasance, can be provided by patriotic whistleblowers, of course.

If this is true, then why isn't Congress investigating Biden now?

You're making a lot of assumptions. You're operating under the premise that things will return to some degree of normalcy, which I do want of course, but that is dependent on what the GOP winds up doing in the long game. It's pretty hard to make any educated guess at this point. It's why I ask about the future of the GOP in another thread.

I get it that there is a fundamental angst amongst conservatives which is why Trump got elected, but the GOP's inability to reign this president in is hurting them in the long game bigly! Conservatives elected Donnie as the proverbial Molotov cocktail thrown at DC, now the place is on fire and they're just letting Donald start more fires without doing a damn thing to put out the ones he has already started.

There is a fundamental shift in conservative politics for which I am not convinced any of us are prepared to yet address. We are in new territory.

The GOP has been in retribution mode since Nixon got bounced, then after Bork, they went into overdrive. The Dems went on tilt after Clinton got investigated for 6 years leading up to his impeachment over the Lewinsky deal. Kelleyanne Conway was one of the self proclaimed “Little Elves” who helped get Clinton along with a young self righteous alleged weenie wagger and beer schmorgler named Brett Kavanaugh.

The two parties used to be friendly rivals but now they really hate each other’s guts. In a way, it sort of helps to keep corruption down a bit as there is always someone looking to destroy your career no matter which side your’e on. However when I hear Trump and his fan boys whining about being picked on just because they are Republicans, it makes me laugh out loud.

In my opinion, it will take one or more leaders from one or both parties to bridge the gap and get these two parties and their representatives in congress to work together for the greater good. The leadership of both parties is pretty disgusting in my opinion. Schumer and McConell are a typical couple of political hacks with little or no (in McConnell’s case) integrity. Peliso is an old political hack that’s way past her prime and the lunatics like Jordan, Gohmert, Nunez and McCarthy are a bunch of dishonest loudmouthed jerkoffs.

There is some talent in both parties who could step up in the next 10 years and turn things around. Hopefully they will rise to the top and bring us back to the days when sanity prevailed in US politics.

Bidens malfeasance was not recusing himself when he should've

We don't know that it's true but just because Congress isn't looking into something doesn't mean it is not a crime or potential crime does it?

I'm just very surprised that the Republicans in Congress and Trump's DOJ aren't launching an investigation when they are making accusations against Biden. If I as a government official believed that there was evidence that a potential president committed a crime, I'd get right on that. This silence just isn't right.

Good stuff as usual I just get tired of the faux moral outrage when it's true both sides are corrupt. Also Schiff, Castro and nadler are hacks too. I think Jim Jordan is a pr hound but I think he's not near as bad as Gaetz

You can if you need to. The inquiry is intended to reveal the truth.

From what? The US State Department, the European Union, the International Monetary Fund, and democratic reformers in Ukraine were all calling for the corrupt Shokin's removal, and Shokin was not investigating Burisma. That was one indicator of his corruption.

I think Jordan is one of those wrestling guys who likes hanging around saunas with young boys. In my book, all wrestlers are suspect. Where I come from most wrestlers were kids who got hit in the face with a bad hop by a hardball so they quit baseball and got into a sport where they could squirm around the floor in tights with other sweaty boys. Neither he or Hastert are my kind of guys.

I've seen the same thing happen with theories about Bill Clinton, Obama, and Hillary Clinton, not just Biden. Republicans have control over the Senate, the White House, the Supreme Court, most state governorships and legislatures, and justice and intelligence departments. They used to have control over the house.

Yet all these right-wing theories about major democrats go with very little real investigation when Republicans are in control and are basically forgotten.

Bwahaha! Wow, I can’t believe you typed that with a straight face. The only way you can decide that “VP doing what the president wants him to do” is worse than “president asks dependent country to investigate his political rival” is if you’re a brain-dead partisan or a Russian troll.

Heck maybe it's evidence that Republicans aren't all in on trump. If they wanted to back up Trump's question about Biden why doesn't the appropriate Senate committee open up an investigation

Why do Republicans need to be all in on Trump to see the value in investigating supposedly real crimes by Bill Clinton, Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden. We have already seen them attack these people already so where are the serious investigations into their crimes? When Republicans took over Congress, why didn't they immediately launch a criminal investigation into Hillary since they had been investigating her for the past 4 years?

Here's what I hold against Jordan he is always on all the political shows and it gives me the opinion he likes the spotlight more than I'd like. I also hold that against Schiff not a fan of Swallwell either I'd say swallwells republican equivalent is Gaetz. Both sides have their clowns

They did investigate Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Obama. Why didn't they do it again idk I can't say for them but it's hard to see them being able to get a do over in those people's cases. Why didn't Democrats bring in GW Bush ? Or Cheney? That sorta stuff goes both ways

The democrats didn't investigate Bush and Cheney because there wasn't solid evidence that they did anything illegal.

The Republicans made a lot of investigations of the Clintons and Obama. But unfortunately no actual criminal charges ever come from these investigations, and these investigations are dropped when Republicans gain power and are able to fully prosecute these individuals.

When one is an Establishment puppet - the rules do not apply.

The Rothschild/Rockefeller consortium banker who bailed out Trump from bankruptcy was Wilbur Ross.

One of the first actions of the Trump was to appoint Wilbur to commerce secretary - an obvious quid pro quo.

It is no surprise that this gets no coverage in the MSM -as the above consortium owns the MSM .. both left and right.

That is true. Swallwell is a real dooshebag. Schiff was my Congressman a few years back and his field office helped me out a couple times so I like him. I’ve been to a couple townhalls with him too and he seemed like a pretty nice and very smart guy. My favorite congressman of all time was Barry Goldwater Jr. It seemed like everyone in the district loved him whether they were Dems or Republicans.

    Quite true.

As vice-president, Biden did not have the authority to withhold Congressionally approved funds. In fact, other than a vote in the Senate when there is a tie, the vice-president has no powers whatsoever. He is merely a placeholder in case something happens to the President.

Ukrainian prosecutors have described no evidence indicating that Biden sought to help his son by getting Shokin dismissed -- and have suggested that they have not discovered any such evidence.

But there is a long list of Western organizations, governments, and diplomats, as well as Ukrainian anti-corruption groups, that wanted to see Shokin fired.

They include the International Monetary Fund, the European Union, the U.S. government, foreign investors, and Ukrainian advocates of reform.

    https://www.rferl.org/a/why-was-ukraine-top-prosecutor-fired-viktor-shokin/30181445.html

So, tell me, why would a President Biden be impeached over the Ukrainian issue? Your problem is, you source of info is Trump. Bad move, really bad move.
