Question to gun control (or should I say gun banning) supporters: If America's 20 biggest cities and counties were permitted to implement any kind of gun control they wanted, would you build a wall? Would it be that important that you'd be willing to build a wall around those areas? With metal detectors at all entrance points. Maybe your big city areas could go carless. You say you want everyone to take public transportation, right? There could be giant parking garages on the outskirts of the city, beyond the wall, in case anyone wanted to be able to drive a long distance away.
Still no reply. This is a compromise idea, which I think both conservatives and city-dwelling progressives could potentially come to an agreement over.
