Are you also for requiring a gun license in order to purchase a firearm in the US?

Being able to vote requires registration.

why not also require this to buy a gun?

i had to get a registration before i could buy my guns

I think he is referring to the NSDAP's use of the democratic process to take power.

"Recent research has shown that nearly one-third of Nazi members and Nazi voters were workers, many of them industrial workers. In the 1932 elections the Nazis made significant inroads into the Social Democratic camp - one of every ten Nazi voters in the summer was an ex Social Democrat ... How do we make sense of the surprisingly large working class vote for the Nazis, which until recently scholars have simply missed?" Peter Fritzsche, "Germans into Nazis," Harvard University Press Cambridge Mass, 1998, p. 201, 202.

Voting requires you to be a us citizen to exercise. That’s not true for purchasing firearms.

The US govt. needs to issue to every citizen 18 and older an ID for free..That would solve the issue.

did Trump show his id for his absentee ballot?

there should not be more requirements for ID in person

as long as absentee voters are required to get theirs notarized that someone verified their id as well

otherwise it's asking for more ID from people that vote in person then we be asked for people that mail in a ballot

Here's a question to ponder: If the requirements to vote is identification why is picture ID the only form they want in certain states when one has to obtain this ID without an ID to prove who they are. What disqualifies anyone from voting with identification papers that they use for when they obtain a picture ID?

there is no reason a 60 year old person should have to show id to buy a 6 pack, in fact they should be able to order online

It is ridiculous how they ID very old people(not me) to buy things intended to be banned for young people.

what I worry about is that ones drivers license will expire, but still be valid and they will deny people the right to vote even though the license is valid after it expires

banks do this today, it's obvious you are the person on the id, but people can be dicks and still deny you

denying Americans the right to vote should be a felony, then I would agree - so if someone mistakenly denies a valid voter the right to vote, they go to prison for 5 years, agree to that, then I am ok with voter id - cause only then would you be sure common sense prevailed

I carry around my veterans administration ID because now most places want two form of ID to cash checks if you don't have an account at their bank and they are charging to cash the checks, frickin' wealthy buttmunching bankers.

So, you don't think those who voted for Hitler or Stalin or Mao wasn't a deadly thing to do?

    Pretty big straw man there.
Granted, it will agree with the "registered voter card", that's technically what they do in GA.
