I think if it weren't for malcontent lefties there would not be any exploding heads. If I listened to you we would have already been at war with China, Iran, N.Korea, and Russia.
I will give you this, it's been a great ride over the last two+ years. Trump has to be the toughest son of a bitch ever to have sat in the Oval Room. Just envisioning you slam typing your foul-mouthed response made my day.

Why are Liberal Government Workers a waste of taxpayer money ?

Government Workers are the people who keep America safe and running smoothly.

Government Workers get jerked around for not a lot of money ?

    What's your problem ?

WE're still fighting ISIS .......... no change there

By pulling out Trump is undercutting his own diplomatic efforts to get Peace with the Taliban.

There have been NO CHANGE in the trajectory of American finding jobs for 9 YEARS. Thanks President Obama !

    To keep it simple.

If a bucket of water is all the jobs in America

    Every job is a drop

trajectory of American finding jobs for 9 YEARS.have emptied the bucket

    Bucket is nearly emptied

That's not the bill that I referenced when I said Pelosi and Schumer are actively trying b.c to vote for Bill's that would reopen the government, but McConnell wont even bring up for a vote.

I am referencing the CR that already had passed the Senate 97-0. It did include funding for the wall.

Rude Vulgar and too redacted to make sense of. Democrats are really getting their asses kicked right now, but you dummies are dumb enough to to still have the government shut down during the SOTU speech, Katy Bar The Door!

the Trump shut down wont be cheap, that is for sure

unless Trump offers dems something good like DACA, we could be shutdown for months or years, cause to deal Trump actually has to give to get

Trump's idea of holding America hostage is not dealing, dems know it would just mean Trump takes more hostages in the future, so they can't deal with the hostage taker, Trump needs to let the hostages go, then work out a real deal

Processing incoming asylum seekers and arresting an processing those illegal crossing the border; feeding them, housing them, giving them free medical care is costing U.S. Citizens Billions a year. Not to mention the cost of jailing and providing them legal support, court costs are additional taxpayer expenses. So the cost of increased border security is a drop in the bucket and in the long run with save taxpayers money. It is common sense.
If Pelosi and Schumer really cared about Government Workers they would allow the President to spend what is needed to increase Border Security, build new housing and hire more agents and judges. But that is not what this is about when it comes to Dems.

    This.

Common sense says we should give Trump the money.

Political pettiness says no, we'd rather spend more than $5.7, to avoid giving Trump $5.7. It is so idiotic it would be laughable, except it is effecting real people.

The notion that building the wall would reduce the cost of processing asylum seekers is completely wrong. Asylum seekers are legally allowed to come here, by any means, and request asylum. If anything, the wall would cause more harm by increasing the chance that a valid asylum seeker would run into a wall and die because of thirst, hunger, or heart exposure.

Furthermore, the notion that trump's 250 wall segment would be a net savings on the processing illegal immigrants is suspect, at best. Only half of all illegal immigrants to this country come by crossing any border illegally.

    This is trump's shutdown.

Trump is refusing to declare a national emergency because he literally sees opening the government as giving the Democrats a win. That is political pettiness.

It is trump's shutdown. He is the one who has claimed ownership. He is the one who has refused REPUBLICAN, Democratic, and bipartisan negotiated deals in order to open the government. He is the only one holding the country hostage and a majority of Americans know and understand this fact.

You are part of the ~30% of Americans who blame Democrats. Trump's base is not enough.

Speaking as just one of 325 million Americans, I can fairly and accurately report that the furlough of 'non-essential' government workers hasn't affected me in the slightest! Moreover, if this level of "shut-down" is maintained throughout the rest of the current fiscal year, it won't matter to me at all -- and, that is very likely true of many other citizens, the ones who don't have an otherwise "cushy" civil-service government job.

BTW, we could start having military personnel do airport screening tomorrow... hell, they'd probably do a better job, too....

Here's to hoping that you are not a victim of identity theft (that government agency is shuttered), that you dont worry about food inspections (that government agency is shuttered), or that you have no need for tax refunds (that government agency will be backed up severely), or that you need to travel by plane (that government agency is not being paid and is undsrstaffed), etc.
