If God wants you to get covid you're getting covid. No vaccine can protect you from God's will. Or so the conventional wisdom goes.

This sounds similar to the theological dilemma in the "Christian Science" religion that asks whether people should seek medical treatment.
Much has been written about that, and you could probably find much relevant discussion there.

That's our business, not God's. Do you think about helping the ants in your yard if too many might be succuming to an increased number of parasites?

As long as the pipeline of souls keeps producing at a reasonable rate, there's not much for God to be concerned about, not even if there's a heavy die-off. Except for the cream of the crop, the casualties just get recycled (reincarnated).

Well, God is real. But I don't know his will in the matter. I suppose it depends on the individual. If the vaccine will help you, then God wants you to get it. But if your body is unique, in that the vaccine might create complications dangerous to you health, then God doesn't want you to get it. But this is all hindsight. What God wants up front is hidden to me. As I recall, when my Wife and I decided to take the shot, I silently asked God to please let it work and not kill us. But I suppose I should have asked God before actually getting the shot if our decision was right.

According to Plato, the founder of reincarnation, women are the reincarnation of degraded souls, below that of animals. But at least they get to work their way up, eh?

SUBTOPIC: The Issues of Philosophical Development!
    ※→ Injeun, et al,

OPENING: Before you can get to this assumption (God is real.) you have to define the reality in which this "Being" exists and form in the "Being" within the framework of that reality. And that takes to the question of the extent to which the "Being" has some interest in the question. And that implies you know the boundaries of the "supernatural." This is the question of the knowledge about the "Being." •) How do you come to have this knowledge set? This knowledge set includes the method of communication between you and the "Being."

    (COMMENT)

This question (should you or not) take a given action is, by your estimation, a question of what the "Supreme Being" wants (then God doesn't want you to)... That is a loaded question in itself. (Questions within Questions is the paradox of "Free Will" and the "Infinity" of the Supreme Being and the supernatural.)

God wants whatever each person who believes in god thinks.

It's one of the reasons there's so many different religions. There's many variations of a so called god.

A google search does NOT find anything close to your claim. Do you have a legit source?

    ...
    The Platonic and Pythagorean Tradition
In our own Western tradition we have a model of reincarnation, of multiple lives and an immortal soul having a purpose in this life. I look to the Platonic and Pythagorean tradition for that context.

You can make a very strong case that Plato is presenting a model of an immortal human soul that takes on a series of human lives. I realize that there is a prominent school of modern academic scholarship which claims that Plato didn’t “really” believe in reincarnation or an immortal soul, and that all of the references to those in his dialogs are metaphors and not to be taken as his actual views.

Plato's theory of the reincarnation of the soul combined the ideas of Socrates and Pythagoras, mixing the divine privileges of men with the path of reincarnations between different animal species. He believed the human prize for the virtuous or the punishment for the guilty were not placed in different parts of the underworld, but directly on Earth. After death, a guilty soul would be re-embodied first in a woman (in accordance with Plato's belief that women occupied a lower level of the natural scale), and then in an animal species, descending from quadrupeds down to snakes and fish. According to this theory, women and the lower animals were created only in order to provide a habitation for degraded souls.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plato's_theory_of_soul

A bit off from what I stated. But purely misogynistic according to the source.

Well, it was a complete different time period back then and women were often just property for a long time.
