Why is it not surprising my post went right over your head.

I Cracked up laughing at how you were defending yourself not being extremist and then you give another one of your extreme attitudes. that I think anyone who criticizes feminism is an extremist .I guess you don’t realize the humor. But I do think people who hate women and women’s equality deserve to be called extremists
I am not surprised that you don’t think anyone is oppressed based on race . I bet you think segregation wasn’t racist and I bet you’re annoyed because of the legacy that it has left that we are trying to correct.
That’s another problem with people who don’t want to talk about history because they aren’t smart enough to realize the impact that history has on the present. It is those people who ignore history thus repeat it

Can you imagine how many more there would have been if women were not denied he best education and denied equal access?

You are correct to a point. I work with women’s groups and I tell them how pleased I am that they take so much for granted and then I add jokingly… “It would be nice for a thank you note“. But the women have more options they are still sexually harassed in the workplace and that is an issue that is being addressed now and hopefully in generations to come that will be something of the Past too

Yeah women are just too stupid to learn. But look how quickly men learned how to type.. I bet we could learn to fix cars... which we already do. I bet you think there’s a leaky roof gene

Probably not many compared to men. Look at the avarage household at the amount of men compared to women that invent things.

Like modifying, making a tool for a job, constructing somthing to make a task a little easier, making a little device e.t.c.

In my household and everyother i know its a man that does the tinkering, why is that?

Lets face facts its in a mans nature to tinker and a womans not so much. Deny it all you want but its a fact.

Defending myself? I have no doubt that to you I am an extremist. I'm glad I have that impact on you. It means I frighten you. Your desperate need to tar and feather me as an extremist illustrates this point.

This has been your single point throughout the entirety of this discussion. You make no counter points, you just insist that people that criticize your ideology have some sort of character flaw.

People normally do that when they can't defend their position.

Thank you for considering me an extremist. If be offended if you thought I wasn't.

Do you know why women are sexually harassed in the workplace and seemingly men aren't?

Well I guess your household isn’t everyone’s. Women are masterful in household tasks. A lot of it is socialization but that is changing because we don’t have single gender shops anymore in school. Let men tinker if that’s what they want to do but let’s not put them down if they don’t want to. You see women have the option to do domestic chores and tinker but yet men who want to do domestic chores are put down for being like a woman,
By the way you just gave the reason why men tinker by your stereotype.Men are told that they are the one to fix things as you point out. Are you saying that women are not capable?I remember when girls only had typing so we could be secretaries. Notice how boys learned to type

My household isnt everyones but it is the majority.

Its very simple and not physically demanding and anyone with half a brain could do it.

But it seems in general women are not intrested or inclined.

I like to tinker because i enjoy in making things and discovering how thinks work mechanicaly. It has facinated me since i was a small child.

What makes fixing a car easier than taking care of a child? By the way have you noticed how proficient women are in computer science? It’s just interesting that you think what women do as “anyone can do it with half a brain” How are your soufflés?

Whats taking care of a child got to do with inventing or tinkering?

Are you suggesting women have a natural instinct to bring up children?

By the way have you noticed how proficient women are in computer science? Arnt most programmers male?

You don't need to have education to invent.

I don't buy that it's mostly socialization. Let's look at Norway for example, where men and women are very much equal. We see the deviation between men and women greater in that society. So when the choice to do anything exists women often choose classically female things. It's why the world has worked the way it did for so long. Men didn't just get together and decide to oppress women.

    Are they? By whom?
Men on average Are more prone to that. Sure there are exceptions and that perfectly fine. I wouldn't consider a female mechanic at all less feminine than a stay at home mom or a hair dresser or any other job considered stereotypical female work. And I'm married to a man that is a school teacher. I'm so proud of him, it was a lot for him to chase his dream, but he did.

You're fighting against a slain and dying dragon. I don't know anybody that looks down on professional or even technical women. I've never heard of anybody having issues with a more domestically oriented man, outside of sitcom caractures

Oh, DO please provide the names of the books you've read on women in history, the documentaries you've watched on women in history, the studies you've done on women in history....

    Seems there weren't any....

You accepted the protection that physical strength affords and thereby put yourselves in your historical role.

Good. I agree. Women have made many significant contributions to human kind.
Doing this in spite of males trying to keep them 2nd class citizens. Why do you suppose many man did that?

Women took the roll and accepted protection in return.

    That’s changing......
Taking care of a house and children and cooking meals isn’t easy...l If it was more men would do it
I noticed many women aren’t going in for a computer science because they’re more interested in medical science where they are now dominating

They accepted the role because they had no choice and didn’t have a raised consciousness.....I remember telling my students that I couldn’t apply to Brooklyn Tech and Stuyvesant high school’s because I was a girl and they said, “I bet you were really angry.” I explained to them that I wasn’t angry because my consciousness was not raised.Once you become aware of injustices things happen. Harvard goes coed, medical schools become half female , women become lawyers and accountants and get athletic scholarships etc
What do women need protection from?

I accept the protection of physical strength, wouldn’t you? Would you tell a cop or firefighter to go away?
