Why would this be the case? I have a theory on this.... that could easily be incorrect but...... I do believe that many of you can benefit from at least considering this possibility. D. was actually shielded by Messiah Yeshua - Jesus from seeing the Face of the Father and was told that he would not have been able to come back into this world after his near death experience if he had seen the Father's Face. My theory is that YHWH or G-d the Father.... is composed of Energy from Quantum Vacuum or something like it and....... has no exact and precise form and thus...... the level of EMPATHY FOR YOU.... that our Creator has is so off the scale that.... if you see the Face of the Father..... you will see that He looks shockingly like you....... [or perhaps even like your identical but significantly darker twin]........ while He is looking at you and you are looking at Him. If you do this...... you have to remain in heaven.... you cannot continue to work with and teach humans..... because you meeting your Creator and Him very possibly looking like your identical twin...... would really mess you up as a teacher of spirituality. I suspect that the Heavenly Father would look largely like Jesus... but amazingly like YOU... if you saw the Face of the Father..... this is partly because the Father knows that you are about to be stopped right there from going back into four dimensional space - time... this earth realm.... and The Father has an emotional attachment to the moment of your death from this world. Well, the Scripture says he did see God "tet-a-tet" in plain words. So which one is it - he did see God face to face or nor? Unless Moses was a ghost when he came back from the mountain.
Since I was a teenager in the '70's i took the statement of Exodus 33:23 as the final authority on whether or not a human could behold the face of the Heavenly Father and then come back into their bodies.......... But... could Moses have met face to face with Messiah Yeshua - Jesus????? Yes... Jesus even met Elijah and Moses during the transfiguration event... that may have been playing around with Time as we think of Time in a way that when we understand this we will probably be shocked????? Well, I quoted you the OT where it says in plain text that not only Moses but also Jacob saw God 'face to face'. I doubt that was Jesus. But what you make out of it is up to you, Dennis.
Here is a guy who feels that he met Messiah Yeshua - Jesus....... he said that his face was shining but he was allowed to look at his extremely shiny face. So the idea that somebody cannot see The Father and remain in this realm..... He reports meeting Jesus after the twenty minute mark in this video.....
@DennisTate God the Father is a black man. Jesus doesn't look like the Father, and Jesus isn't black. Jesus looks like a 1st-century Middle Easterner. The reason that is so, despite the fact that black genes are dominant, is that God didn't get Mary pregnant through sex with himself. It was a virgin birth. If you want to see what Jesus looked like then look for the image of a man on the Shroud of the Turin.

The thought that Jesus' father was a Roman centurion is a rather weak idea that is most likely untrue. Rather, it is more likely that God doubled up Mary's DNA and then made Jesus male. This is a rather technical debate that I'm not up to explaining it.
