There should be nothing to do. God is 'all knowing' and if it's all 'gods plan' then everything is just as it should be, right???

I'd have created a better product to start with and could have done so in my sleep......and have been smart, loving, gentle, fair, kind, thoughtful, humble( not as conceited as this Christian god is portrayed , a needy ego-centric emotionally immature dolt)….. I wouldn't need my creations to worship me because I wouldn't have the bully syndrome and need worship to make me feel I'm worthwhile and certainly wouldn't punish my creations for acting the way I created them to act.

Oh, and no "mysteriousness" to hide the fact that I wasn't honest enough to be open and candid with my creations....I would have the backbone to be honest with them...

God never gave flawed genes to anyone. You are not better than God no matter how many times you imply it.

The lessor good ALWAYS becomes evil.....It is human nature.

No...I admit my failures. That is the beginning. Then I accept the provision God has given me. As usual....you fancy yourself as a god. Things are, because you think them into being.

And, except in your own mind, neither are you. You just won't admit it.

Since there is no such creature, I don't see that as a problem. Except for you.

Yet you seem to want to dictate to this god how it should behave and act, claiming knowledge that you don't possess. Who has the problem here?

We are learning that every aspect of our personalities has a physical neurological component, and a lot of this is genetic. Men in general tend to be more aggressive because they have more testosterone while women are more balanced. People we once though were evil we are now learning have psychopathy disorders and have reduced brain function in areas of the brain regulating empathy. Many who were very withdrawn and nerdy we are learning have aspergers. People who always seemed slothful and unhappy we are learning have biopolar disorder. Many families have at least one person with a mental disorder and this can lead to many of them being dysfunctional.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and we are just beginning to learn how the brain impact your personality. This is why different kids just seem to have different personalities from birth, and this is because we are all born with certain tendencies. Some are born with a very kind spirit, while others are born with less kindness and more anger. If God really wanted us to be good and was going to punish us for not being good then why would he give is genetics and brains that made us less likely to make it to heaven? It makes no sense to make someone with a psychopathic brain if God want that person to make it to heaven. It also makes to sense to make children born in cultures that are evil where most of these children will turn into bad people, when if they were born in better cultures they would have more likely turned out good.

Make children indestructible until they finish puberty then I will send down a new list of commandments:
    1. Thou shall not dismiss science as this shows the greatness of My work.
    2. Thou shall treat all races, religions, genders, sexualities and cultures as you would like to be treated.
    3. Thou shall not be a greedy ******* and put money above all else.
Finally I shall change Hell so that one is only tortured equal to 100 times the amount of misery their victims suffered. Afterwards, they get to go to heaven.

I'd say you have the problem. You can't even encapsulate quotes properly.

There is a great difference between a lessor GOOD and evil. If you want to call a lessor good, evil, fine, but a lessor good is in no way evil. It is a lessor good. Good is good, not evil. Human nature might falsely call it evil, given ignorance is a part of human nature.

I disagree with you. What you are saying is a doctrine basically embraced by the Roman Catholic Church. Call it "degrees of sin". In my estimation, all sin is evil. It is as though God gave us a still clear pond. That is perfection. A man can drop a boulder in it from an airplane, or a child can throw a pebble out in the middle. Either way, the surface is broken and the whole surface feels the effects. Sure..... you may find it easier to live with the surface broken by the pebble, but it is still far from the ideal situation. I would strive for the perfect situation....an unbroken surface which is the will of God. Cannot obtain that on my own efforts. Though I hate it, I disturb the surface all the time. That is why I must rely on the only provision, Jesus Christ, and I can trust the surface will be restored to calm and I can even participate in that restoration as He works through me.
In summation, perhaps you are right, there is a big difference between a lessor good and evil, but there is an eternal chasm between a lessor good and Holiness.

I was addressing the OP. And I said if I were god I would have created a universe not of good and evil, but of a greater good and lessor good. Instead of allowing evil to exist at all.

But then, I would be a GOOD GOD. And not allow evil to exist in my universe. Especially since with my infinite power, I could have created any universe that I wanted. But then again, after reading the OT, I always knew that I had a greater moral code than god anyways. And I would have never expected a greater morality from my subjects than I was willing to give myself. ha ha

Sorry man, I cannot buy into the god of the OT. He is a creation of man, and I am not saying a creative force does not exist outside of this universe. I am just saying, it aint THAT ONE. Just an opinion based upon basic common sense. He looks more like some monster than the creator of a universe. Unless he is evil, of course. And a hellvua trickster.

It is also my opinion that people believe in such a god because they want their egos to continue on, and will do anything to insure that. In short, they do not want their egos to die, or worse, to go to a hell, forever and ever, in great indescribable torture for all of eternity. It is just a con game with plenty of marks.

I would never worship such a god. Nor believe that such a god could ever exist. If we had a human with his traits, we would hang him.

Then why do you seem to confine your "unbelief" to the God of the O.T.?? The NT is about the same God. You know better than God so just admit it.

Just admit that all of the various religions claim to believe in a true god, and act accordingly. Yet they are all different. You claim to know the only truth. Your god doesn't like egotism that claims to be greater than his.
