This is the democrats Gift to America, sanctuary cities and states for criminals like these and wide open borders.

Without a wall, a deported criminal can reenter the country and resume their life of crime. Take the recent example of Antonio Serrano-Perez, a career criminal who was first deported back in October 1998.

This felon and narcotics trafficker has been deported to Mexico five times and has repeatedly demonstrated that he has no respect for U.S. laws,” said Marc J. Moore, field office director of the ICE Dallas office. “Throughout his extensive criminal career, he has operated as though the United States is simply a profitable location for him to traffic in illegal drugs. After he fully completes his latest federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the United States, our ICE officers will deport him a sixth time.”

I just don't understand (well, being a little naive) how ordering local and state police departments not to cooperate with ICE helps situations like this.

It's called obstructionism and open rebellion against the U.S. Constitution and the federal government.

Anyone who gets deported/returns five times is going to figure out how to navigate a wall.

Yup, just deport him to international waters.

Selling illegal drugs shows a disregard for human life and is the same as murder.

After 10 years in the pen ( I think a few years would have done the trick) -the criminal will probably not come back.

I wonder — had we not spent the trillion of dollars creating this drug war and enriching criminals if he would have still been illegally entering the country?

I bet a wall keeps him out though!

Typical liberal speak, deflect, blame something or someone else and by all means avoid taking the responsibility for what you do, thats the Liberal Progressive Democrat way.

Not only is the border open but democrats created sanctuaries where they break federal law and wont report them order their Police not to work with ice and they RELEASE VIOLENT CRIMINALS non citizens back into our socieity and give them public assistance and free healthcare, are you serious man.

Democrats want illegal non citizens to VOTE, make no mistake this illegal problem is going to affect ALL AMERICANS and their children and that includes the democrats that enabled all this.

What responsibility do you feel I am at fault for in the faild drug war or practices that encourage illegal immigration?
    Me personally? Pathetic ad hominem
I am not deflecting, it was a legitimate question, one that you likely cannot answer.

Illegals should be arrested and deported, the border should be armed, sanctuary cities should lose all federal funding, employers should face fines of 1% for violations and doubling for each subsequent violation. I would about guarantee my stances on illegal immigration are much less forgiving than yours are.

The majority of Democrats do not believe illegals should be allowed to vote in local or regional elections in even the most liberal places in America. The vast majority are against illegals voting in national elections.
Your narrative is fake news at its finest.

It doesn't help. It just goes against Trump. This is a perfect example of how some politicians hate Trump more than they love their country.

The drug war has zero to do with the open borders and sanctuary cities, we can seal our border and greatly reduce illegal immigration and if the democrats followed the law we would deport who makes it over and everyone, every single illegal released from prison goes back.

Drug war has nothing to do with illegals that murder americans, and kill them driving drunk and commit a myriad of other crimes.

Doubtful, clearly prison isn't harsh enough to act as a deterrent. Prison overcrowding isn't a justice problem it's a crime problem
    .
Our interpretation of cruel and unusual is far to restricting.

I know! Let's just make illegal immigration punishable by life sentences, for the first offense. Think of all the profit prison companies can make! It's the IDEAL solution.

Of course you won't have to since nobody will ever figure out to get past that huge wall and alligator/snake moat.

I don't agree with your claim "prison is not harsh enough to act as a deterrent" - and you have not provided support for claim.

    Example por favor.

If prison was a deterrent to crime we wouldn't have prison crowding problems.

    Simple undeniable common sense

An example of prison being to soft?

An inmate who rapes another isn't immediately executed.

Most illegal aliens from Mexico like America's prisons and jails.

America's prisons and jails are so popular with Mexicans, all you have to do is look at how many Mexicans are in America's jails. Free stuff !!! Free shelter, free three meals a day, free clothing. At the Los Angeles County Jail, Taco Tuesdays is mucho popular with Mexicans.

I agree that prison is not a deterrent to all people - but - it is a deterrent to most.

Your second point is rather odd ... Rape is cruel and unusual punishment - and you are arguing against it in this post - and I agree with you.
The problem is that your original argument was "Our interpretation of cruel and unusual is far to restricting"

I doubt there are many in our Jails who would not like to be let free - Mexican or otherwise.

Back during the 1960's Bernie Sanders would sit down in the middle of a street just so he could get arrested and take a long overdue shower and eat few free meals.

Then you have those in society who have become institutionalized and can no longer make it on the streets and commit a crime so they can be sent back to prison.

While anecdotal examples exist for almost everything - "Some people like to eat poop" - these are not representations of the norm.

The L.A. Co. Jail has a special cell just for inmates who like poop.
I believe it's referred to as the "ding tank."

Increased crime rates makes the herd give Democrats in charge more power to keep people "safe".

Of course, this just leads to more crime and corruption, which further cements Democrat control over an area.
