HBO Series has become so popular that educational institutions are about to introduce classes on the example of `Game of Thrones`. This by no means will be greatly supported by students but could this course really reflect the idea of war strategy or the essence of the power?
As for me a made-up story doesn`t truly represents medieval way of life and war strategy is showed on average level. Moreover, it`s not based on true story, here Vikings are more detailed within this framework and could teach students history. Thus, I consider that knowledge students get from `Game of Thrones` will be limited and is unlikely to give them a full image of targeted subjects. However, it`s a way to attract students and involve them into discussions but it will hurt the education system to some extent.
What do you think about it?
