Wow, fancy that! I once went out with a girl who lived in Brigstock road, TH. She could ice-skate, whereas I'd never been within 10 miles of an ice rink in my life. She persuaded me to go with her to the Streatham one, and suffice to say that the 'beautiful friendship' went downhill after that. [IMG] [IMG] Oh well, y'can't win 'em all!

Ah yeah, Streatham is fun, and old, they tore that old rink down, rebuilt a brand new one in 2012/2013.
Friday nights there is fun, at their ice skate disco thing I went to the last time I went ice skating; I've only been ice skating 3 times in my life; twice in the old one, and once in that new one at their disco night, all at Streatham Ice Rink.
There used to be a rehearsal studio next to the old rink called Live Wire Studios; that was cool.

Part of the narrative (paraphrased and parodied)

'So you're saying there are people in the hostel who say they're Syrian, but they're not?'
    'Yes,'
    'So where are they from?'
    'From everywhere except Syria.'

What a joke! And the Home Office liars spin that the checks of nationality are made by 'studying the dialects (but note these two weasel words) if necesssary.'?? But then with lifelong social security whether working or not; free health care; pension upon reaching pensionable age, let's face it - who can blame them? It's why we're the main destination of choice, and will be for years to come. Brigstock road sure has changed a lot since I was there.

It's at the bus stop that serves busses coming from Croydon and somebody once told me I couldn't park my car there while I ran into the shops next door to it on Melfort Road.. It's on Brigstock Road but it's on the corner of Melfort Road too... I used to park there all the time till somebody said I couldn't. Yeah. It's this big car park/parking lot right, un gated, and it's literally right there that it's shared with the back of the shops still... Seen ambulances there from time to time park on the main road where the bus stop is by the main door on Brigstock. @cerberus - These are just my own observations of it.
