How did it unite them? As far as I can work out they voted for innumerable incompatible things, of which the tories are choosing any they please. 'Sleeping giant' my unconquerable ******** - a lot of idle-minded mugs voted against their betters, simply! Nobody want's this monstrous balls-up, as you know. And if you think the EU is to be equated with a country suffering the results of cynical invasion, your perceptions leave much to be desired.

The one thing they all voted for, the one single thing, was to leave the EU.

And indeed it is the one single thing that the nation has always voted for in every general election. Either not to join the EU without a referendum first, or to hold a referendum to get out. Every general election since the EU was thought of; campaigned, and was won on that manifesto.

So just as their were 15,000,000 different reasons counted to stay in the EU, there were 17,000,000 different reasons counted to leave it.
And the nuances of life are such that two people may wish for the same things for completely different reasons. And losers will cry fowl.
Not everyone wanted to stay in the EU for the same reasons and not everyone wanted to leave for the same reasons. People are different.

Why each and every one of us choose to vote the way we voted is none of your concern.
All you have to do is respect it. If you are unable to, prison awaits you.

How much you hate us, how much you despise us, matters not.
That you have so openly shown us your disrespect and derision. So openly moved against so many of us, has united us.

And now you are out of power, Not just nationally but world wide.
    Sayonara,

No one wanted this monstrous balls up. Correct.
That's we have consistently voted to end it.

Now it is over. Things are already much better.

Ex tyrants in floods of tears and hysterical wailings. Makes us all smile a lot.
Brings joy and harmony to our day.

Not really following you with colonial invasions. Don't really know what it is you are trying to say. Are you suggesting that we are invading the EU or that the EU is invading us? Or...? Something else entirely? Not getting your point yet.

And it shouldn't be forgotten that the political class headed by Pumped-up Dave and the establishment elitists headed by Clarke and Heseltine tried to deny it to us; and had it not been for Nigel Farage they would have got away with it. And to judge from what Heseltine was saying about Brexit yesterday, he's still trying.
