Hollywood is scared. You have to figure they make movies years in advance, and now - liberals everywhere realize it wasn't evolution. It was simply a fad. Progressives. The 10 people left to witness the closing of the disco hall.

They're afraid of every movie coming out getting "Ghostbuster'd", "Audi Ad-ish", and "Netflix'd".

For me, that suspicion has sunk.

But for those who get skittish around shadows, it could be a sign of something worse to come.

What are you talking about? They decided that too many of the people who post are just nuts. No sht.

The opening post of this thread comes to mind as an example.

Have you ever been on the IMDb boards? They weren't that bad. The trolls only came out on the big flicks.

But they were definitely one of the major fuels for anti-PC fire. Haha

And on that other note - this could be the next level of turning off your comment section. Surest way to know you're reading propaganda is if the comment section is turned off.

Based on your own description, why would IMDB spend money maintaining a system that “isn’t that bad” and is invaded by trolls during the high-profile periods (and let me guess – you only posted there “on the big flicks” ;) )?

Anyway, we’re talking about a single website that is just a database of films with a user-friendly interface. How is it even important enough to be considered “propaganda”?

I wouldn't call it a sign of propoganda. Just lefties trying to hide from any disagreement. We see this with them wherever they go, be it their communist countries or their university campuses. It's merely a sign that they can't argue their position.

Didn't know they existed in the first place. Probably because those who waste money on most of today's media junk are dumbass teenagers who spend most of their time on other social media now, same for the music biz and other entertainment garbage. The Grammies are a perfect example; maybe three or four real singers on the entire show. Pathetic. And some airhead dancer whose only discernible 'talent' involves T&A eye candy whining about 'the importance of artists n stuff', lol what a hoot.

ONLY on the big flicks? HA, not even close. Trolls are on almost every single board page, for whatever reason asking stupid questions and wasting valuable bandwidth. As someone who frequents those boards, I can attest to this.

With twitter and google they are pretty useless anyway. I haven't used them since I was like 14 and even then nobody responded to questions.

I don't think I ever mentioned "propaganda" as to IMDb. I was referring as a marker to other sites with fake news. No comment section is the marker. Haha

I'm older so I liked the message boards. The trolls are exclusively kids, and would have some great convos with other movie lovers on older movies that the trolls don't even know exist.

The problem isn't the "trolls". The problem is liberals who don't like competition, so anyone who says something they don't like is immediately a "troll" on a message board, just like they are all "fascists" in politics, if the don't agree with liberal ideals.

The message boards weren't ruined by "trolls". They were shut down because the PC brigade was starting to be outnumbered 10 to 1.

When I mentioned "propaganda", I was referring to other main stream sites, that when they push bogus globalist news, shut down their comment sections so normal people who know they're full of crap can't comment to wake up other readers up who might believe it.

I wouldn't be surprised if places like PF didn't start getting offered amounts 20 times what they're worth to be sold and shut down.

^^^Perfect example. "If it doesn't function as I want - shut it down".

You are a human being that liberal programming has completely destroyed.

People make accounts solely to NOT have meaningful conversation about a show or movie and then wonder why admins are going to disable the boards.

Imdb had message boards? Thats news to me. I just use IMDB when I'm trying to figure out something about an actor/actress/movie/TV show.

    Riiiiiiigggghhhttt. Keep telling yourself that.

I don't gut the definition of words to be able to bypass cognitive function and trigger emotional response programming.
