They will likely try again in 2023 if they win back the House. Currently it looks like they will probably lose it. They just told millions of Americans they didn't think their votes counted when they impeached Trump in the first place. They have consistently attacked Trump supporters, ie the American people, and have nothing to show for themselves after a witch hunt and impeachment. Nov is going to be hilarious...

Why wouldn't they? They are already being seen as the party of the frivolous impeachment effort. It will be red meat for the party faithful and they won't lose any more voters in the key swing states than they already have lost with the first impeachment attempt. They have nothing to lose so why not have a scorched earth policy over the political landscape?

I think they will manufacture another hoax and try again. I hope Bill Barr steps in at some point and charges Democrat leaders with Presidential harassment and looks into leaks as well as looking into the people who are trying desperately to remove a duly elected President. It's another coup attempt that will fail.

He didn't withhold aid in order to get Ukraine to announce an investigation into the Bidens? All of the witnesses lied? The memo of the conversation is a lie?

The big question is will Trump go off the rails again?

All polls show that the majority of Americans felt that Trump did something wrong (as did a number of House and Senate Republicans). They were just more split on whether Trump’s actions rose to Impeachable conduct.

Let’s not forget that the Benghazi Investigations lasted 3 years past the point where no wrong doing was found by most government agencies and only ended after Hillary was defeated. Politically motivated by Republicans to discredit Hillary? Sure. She was a toxic personality, just like Trump.

I thought he handled it pretty well and he still President today. His legal team was far greater than Schiff and Nadler, that is for sure.

Legal team didn’t matter. It was political partisanship, not an exercise in justice. Trump could have not presented any defense and it wouldn’t have changed the outcome by more than a couple of votes.

His legal team was far superior and there was no way the Senate was going to remove the President because there was no viable reason to. It was partisan, especially on the Democrats side for even trying to impeach him.

The real question is, will they try it again? Please address that point as everything else is really off topic. Especially bringing Hillary into it. Unless you think we should listen to her when it comes to deciding issues related to a position she will never hold.

Considering how Trump likes to push the lines, especially on the emoluments issue, I think there is an above average chance that Trump will be impeached again.

Yes. "Hate Trump" and perpetual impeachment distracts from the fact that the Democrat Party has turned into two infighting parties: The Moderate-Left vs the Socialists. The only thing they agree on is hatred for Trump's Nationalist policies.

I kind of hope there is another impeachment this year. That was one of my 2020 predictions.

I honestly hope everything cools down and President Trump can manage the country in peace without all of the hostile attacks from the left. It would be a nice break during the election season and after he hopefully gets another term. The economy is humming along and I suspect if he wins again, it continues to do so. Then hopefully he concentrates on the Federal Deficit and reducing it.

I don't think any of that will happen. The left has gone two crazy.

I think the big difference between Trump and Hillary is that Trump isn't knowledgeable

When he lies it's because he doesn't know what he's talking about. When Hillary lies she is doing so to deceive people.

I would say Trump exaggerates a lot as opposed to outright lies, like Hillary or Obama or other practiced Politicians do.

And raking forests, though he made that up himself, I'm quite sure. At least I'd never heard of it. (Nor had anyone else)

And what? Is there a ***** in the armor? Is it possible for even the TRUMP to be.....www....wwwrrr....mistaken...on rare occasions?

Not sure about the raking forests reference is. I presume it has to do with wildfires maybe? In some locations you are required to remove flaming foliage from around your forest home, aka rake the forest floor around your home.

Yes Trump can make mistakes, good thing he has not made many even if he does run off at the mouth.

    C'mon, you don't remember this?

    https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2018/11/17/trump-leaves-wildfires-fox-intv-sot-newday-vpx.cnn

I think everything he has done is mistaken. He doesn't even put the right pants on. :p

    https://www.marieclaire.com/politic...esident-trump-over-his-awful-mismatched-suit/

As for a second impeachment OTOH we DID have to charge and try John Gotti and other mobsters more than once so why not? OTOH, it would just be the same result, once a King, always a King. As for doing it in 2023, Trump will probably dissolve Congress along with the courts if he wins in November. (And I mean in hydrofluoric acid like they did in Breaking Bad)

What else they got except the extended, attempted coup? The coup gets extended at every great disappointment.

It lasted three years because the State Department refused to turn over documents and there was plenty of wrongdoing found including Hillary and her staff.

But the question here is about Trump and the Democrats, will another phony dossier pop up?

Nope, it's just a waste of time and efforts, it's better for the DEMS to shape up than trying to show how sick Trump is, it's quite bad to look when the entire party is ganging up on one opponent, they should pursue more higher perspectives which would make the party look more stronger and more citizenry inclined than politically aggressive.

We're paying a very deadly price for their frivolousness.

McConnell: Impeachment “diverted the attention of the government” from coronavirus early

“It came up while we were tied down on the impeachment trial.”

Impeachment tied up all 3 branches of the Federal Government at a very critical time, and with no chance of succeeding. It was an exercise in self-indulgence by House Democrats and now a deadly price is being paid by the Nation.

Over 4,000 dead and it only took 3.5 days to double from 2,000. If it doubles 4 more times in the next 15 days we'll hit mid month with 64,000 dead.
