Right now 200 house dems back Trump impeachment. How many more are needed before Trump IS impeached

It has to pass the house to get to the senate by a simple majority. But I don't even think the dems want to do that, They want to investigate and hold the hearings with subpoena powers. Based on that investigation is where the members will then vote. At the time of watergate only 25% of the house wanted Nixon impeached. by the end of the hearings it was up to 75%

They want to push it on as long as possible so that it is an election issue.. it has nothing to do with whether or not he broke the law.

Hillary Clinton impeded investigations like crazy the dems didn't investigate her at all.

This is 100% political and has nothing to do with law.

Nothing to do with the law? Look, I am with Tulsi on this , impeachment is too devisive. But cmon, h eis asking for a foreign country to investigate Biden. That is against the law. Him saying there was no quid pro quid just means he was not trying to bribe them to do it, he still asked.

The fact the we have a political system that even attempts to put our elected leader ABOVE THE LAW proves that we need legislation passed to insure that CAN NEVER HAPPEN!!!The president whether it be a man or a woman SHOULD NEVER EVER BE ABOVE THE LAWS OF OUR NATION!!!!In fact they should be held to a far higher standard than Joe Sixpack!!!!

    Against the law ?
If the guy got his son out of prison, he must have payed that other state something.
Since he was vice president, such payment is call treason.
Now that guy wants to be president while he is held by the balls by a foreign state.
Don't you as an american wants to know what is going on there ?
The president, not just that he wants to know, it is his duty to know.

They have all signed their own resignations from office as they will all be held accountable and defeated in the next election for a Coup against the President without evidence of wrongdoing....

It is not against the law for a President to ask a foreign country to investigate a potential crime. If someone would like to dispute that please name the statute or code.

There is a fat chance anyone can do that. Democrats just want it to be illegal so they cry so from anywhere they can. And the media eats it up and then repeats it as news. Democrats have truly become really pathetic. They are like whiny little spoiled children throwing a tantrum. They cry and whine and mope around any yet have not been correct on a single issue yet. Not one, not a single one. But they snowflake on.

Red district Democrats in the House will be caught between supporting the impeachment proceedings at the risk of a backlash from their constituents. Talk about a Sisyphean task!

There are no grounds for impeachment, any one supporting it will be taken to the woodshed in 2020.

You can impeach a ham sandwich if the votes are there. There doesn’t have to be grounds. High Crimes and misdemeanors is a subjective phrase. A majority of reps can make that whatever they want. The Senate will not convict, but that will not stop the HoR from starting the process.

How many supported Senator Al Franken's resignation and now regret it?
    Yes "they" do exist.

It is as sad as the Bill Clinton impeachment to conduct this Constitutional power like a horse and pony show.

I do not regard this impeachment effort as in any manner "worthy" of the Constitutional power similar to the Clinton Impeachment and lying about his sex life.

It would be nice to witness Congress doing something constructive that
they all claim to support, such as infrastructure updating and repair.
Instead they just try to achieve "Brownie Points" against the other
while collecting a pay check for what, I can not figure out right now.

    Enjoy the "show"
    Cheer for your side.
That is the distraction they wish and the News Media, Inc keeps dishing it out.

Neither High crimes and misdemeanors or the law is subjective. You must have actual laws broken in order to justify impeachment. The impeachment process is not a campaign tool for Democrats to abuse.

What has the Trump bum kissers wee weeing their frillies is that an "inquiry" seeks to reveal pertinent truths that are being concealed.

For Trumpers to rage against Congress diligently fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities is to presume culpability.

The facts that can be uncovered are what matters for anyone who respects the truth, and that will be exculpatory if one actually believes whatever Trump is saying.

Trump is clearly desperate for one of his diversions, and finally coming clean with his promised tax returns about now would be a very effective distraction.

    The obstruction of justice. Impeach.
    The Ukrainians. Impeach.

What will they think of next? It’s getting boring!
