Sounds like you're scared they might threaten your bubble. Pop it yourself! Why be ignorant of the nature of capitalism? It can only make your argument look petty

We have not recovered from that yet. One must recall that it took from 1931 until the end of WWII for the economy to fully recover, 15 years. They had a resource (albeit illegal) to utilize to jump start the economy in 1931 which is something we do not have at this moment.
We have a ways to go before anyone can truthfully state we have gotten past this depression.

It took longer because of an innate conservatism. Keynesianism was forced on them via world war

I have to agree with you. Deficit spending is a very very bad idea

No, what was a very very bad idea is to confuse the pre-war period with Keynesianism.

It took a civil war last time to resolve the dispute last time America was so divided.

No, it wasn't averted. They refer to that day as Black Monday.
    It was replaced.
We went from a gold back dollar system to a note bearing society. From US TREASURY DOLLARS to FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES. Two totally different things.

you are a liar..want to start this all over again?
Are you saying Black Monday never happened? That the gold backed monetary system did not collapse which resulted in the creation of the FED RES? Fractional banks to a central bank.
We went from a gold backed dollar to FRNS?
or are you saying that us treasury dollars were never backed by gold, ever?
What part does your brain kick in and declare which part of this to be untrue? and what part?

That's not a very nice thing to say. Be nice. It's a good thing.

The country hasn't been this divided since the end of the Civil War. If you don't agree then explain your logic.

it's your opinion that the country hasn't been this divided since the end of the civil war

i think that's hyperbolic and inaccurate, the civil war and reconstruction were awful hardships

most people have it very easy in comparison to those days, even without those war-related problems

I'm prepared to embrace all political economic schools of thought. Understanding is everything. In contrast, you start with a political ideology and ignore economics accordingly.

I ignore uproven economic theories. Actual numbers do not lie, unless manipulated somehow.

You don't know any economic theories. Supply and demand is beyond you. You therefore have no means to make valid comment. The idea that you can understand economic result without understanding economic approach is taking Fox brainwashing to the extreme
