So if healthcare plans pay for Viagra they should also pay for abortions? Who knew you could be so fair minded.

Maybe the consequences need to be raised a little then.

You do realize that is because most people are too stupid to actually use a condom properly. There is no real cure for stupid.

Yes the old Republican program of letting the child suffer! Perhaps it the biblical crap of foisting the sins on the parent on the child so beloved by the Conservatives.

Actually that is my point - we don't really want the shallow end of the gene pool reproducing becuase it cannot work out how to use a condom properly - lols!!

By far the best contraception is an implant but this is where expense comes in

It has always been expensive to have hospital births, which is how many women are hoodwinked into "having the baby first" on Medicaid instead of getting married while pregnant--then the father disengages easily after the birth. Some of those women had no intention of remaining single Moms and might have had abortions but for the Medicaid birth trap.

That's gotta be it because the 1% control 38% of the wealth in the US.

The consequence is, too little pay to pay for necessities, in some cases.

That settles it then, some freakofnature used BC successfully, so 100% of the people should be able to do that as well.

I'll get on board with whoever will be for the middle class.
You know it was Gingrinch and the R's with Clinton, that did NAFTA and other free trade agreements. Knowing full well jobs would be lost out of country.
You know they added welfare and retraining in anticipation of all those jobs lost and the lowering of real wages.
So, why would R's be different today, they have always been for the top 1% and multinational corporations over the working class. The D's used to be for working Americans, but starting with Clinton, have also sold out the middle class.

The very 1st thing the R's tried to do and failed, was to keep the ACA basically intact, but shift the cost from the rich, with tax breaks, and shift the cost to the poor and elderly.
How is joining the R's going to help?

How? Why not access to BC and abortion increased. Instead of going the other direction?
You know if they can't afford to have the baby, they won't be able to support the child very good either. Meaning more added to the welfare program.
Of course, I suspect your raised consequences, means they need to go hungry, move all back in with parents, or do whatever other means is necessary, beg, borrow, or steal, if no jobs come available that pay enough.

I had friends who got their girlfriend pregnant in highschool. And I'm sure they were doing BC. Sheit happens.

No society/Civilization can be sustained on these type of statistics. The intelligent/producer class is being out bred by the lower classes. And the producers are being forced to pay for those out breeding them......which pushes them to have fewer children. Another 'Dark Ages' is just around the corner........

Why should employers be responsible for their employees health care?

The producers, sent their jobs out of country for the last 25 yrs. So they must pay up.

Else they could get to fkn their spouse, instead of American workers. To reproduce more producers.

I have no idea how that system started out. But it's been that way for 50 yrs?
But without the employer providing it as a benefit, the cost for insurance for an average single person will be $300/mo. For a family, it gets close to $800/month. Basically, its unaffordable. And that is for $5k deductibles.

EDIT - they aren't responsible for the healthcare, just the insurance as a benefit.
Why should insurance cost as much as one's mortgage?

I suspect it has to do with group coverage being cheaper than individual.
And large companies used to be their own insurance provider.

Read: We, the aristocratic class, are outnumbered by the poor. Therefore, we should enact policies that limit this discrepancy.

The rich have been trying since the dawn of time to accomplish this unaccomplished task.

Let us all know when you find a solution that doesn't equate to the Final Solution....

Sounds like the perfect argument for Universal Healthcare.

How anyone living in 21st Century America fails to see that is beyond me.

Most times it's just a waived up front fee, like Obama Phones. Yeah, you get a four year old phone and 25 minutes per month for free.

But, after that, if you want to upgrade, or get more minutes, you have to pay.

It isn't religious shame. Those that make decisions that negatively affect other humans should be judged accordingly.

Are you saying that millions of babies born into homes that are not prepared to care for them is due to the. 007% ineffectiveness of birth control?
