    Very interesting take from the most recent Foreign Affairs magazine on Sweden. They may have herd immunity in Stockholm this month. I sense a growing acceptance that they did it right. The article is dead on, this virus can only be managed, not stopped.

    Folks, here's a prediction I could easily ridicule, and/or ridicule the ones who believed it.

    In reference to Trump's China travel ban;

    Claim: "If I didn’t do that," referring to early travel restrictions on China, "we would’ve had hundreds of thousands more people dying" in the United States.

    Well, IRONICALLY.............

    Trump's China Travel Ban VERSUS Uncle Trudeau's NO NO NO China Travel Ban

    A few facts

    a. U.S. percentage of Chinese population; 1.5%, mainly California, and New York

    b. Canada's percentage of Chinese population; 4.5%, mainly British Columbia, and Ontario

    AND in the month of February, 2020........31,000 passengers from China landed in Canada

    In addition, Trump's claim; "we would’ve had AT LEAST 200,000 MORE people dying"

    The MATH; 200,000 MORE people dying DIVIDED by 332M Pop = 602 MORE deaths per 1M pop.

    Canada's current number of Covid19 deaths per 1M pop; 607

    Hummmmmmm, Compared to Canada's NO NO NO China Travel Ban, Trump's ''at least 200,000 MORE''......don't add up!

    You see folks, just with SIMPLE LOGIC, one can easily ridicule anyone in this forum, and mainly the below average intelligent.

    I looked at your post and didn't respond because it seemed mean-spirited. That may not have been your intent but that's how it comes off.

    Arrogant at the very least. He is overcome with a focus on internet statistics, something some of us don't even believe.

    Certainly not!

    In 2020, there were thousands of predictions, mainly due to Covid19, and the Presidential elections, for example;

    Remember this one;

    TRUMP; ''The U.S. is the most prepared country to handle a pandemic''

    Well, did Trump believed in Johns Hopkins' Global Pandemic Preparedness Study/Statistics?

    Several times, Trump publicly stated; ''The U.S. is the most prepared country to handle a pandemic''

    How would I know?

    I would say that is probably true. It is U.S. vaccines that are reducing the infection rate.

    Quote; ''I would say that is PROBABLY true''

    Good! You're teaching posters on how to WISELY respond;

    is PROBABLY true
    MIGHT
    MAY
    POSSIBLY
    Perhaps
    Could be

    Thanks for your help.

    You made these statements in this thread. All of them are denigrating. You even posted the person's username in the link.

    Mainly due to a lack of wisdom, and critical thinking

    Folks, here's a prediction I could easily ridicule, and/or ridicule the ones who believed it.

    You see folks, just with SIMPLE LOGIC, one can easily ridicule anyone in this forum, and mainly the below average intelligent.

    You then started another thread on the same topic using the same condescending tone.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ums-into-a-comic-book.586719/#post-1072550032

    However, a large number of forum posters have undoubtedly been wrong on this one

    Is it mainly due to a lack of Wisdom?

    Why do you think anyone would want to engage in such conversations? I don't enjoy putting other people down and don't engage when others do it.

    You're welcome. Perhaps you have internet statistics to show me why my opinion is a bad one.

    Your opinion isn't a bad one, due to the fact; it can't be LOGICALLY disproved.

    Whereas; ''Sweden's may achieve HERD IMMUNITY by the end of May 2020'', can be statistically, and easily disproved.

    Take a look at this thread;

    Psaki: Higher taxes won't cause businesses to raise prices

    Basically, an ''IT WILL/IT WON'T stupid partisan thread, and here were my responses;
    ''It may not'', due to the following statistics and rationale......

    Comprendez?

    Absolutely.

    Do you not see the negative adjective in your own statement?

    Well, back in May of last year, several Swedish Health Officials also believed they would achieve herd immunity before Summer ends.

    My response; Good for them, however, in the U.S., the Swede's herd strategy is RATIONALLY impossible to implement, and the main reason; ''It's an election year''.

    I was referring to the word "stupid" which is why I used the word "adjective".

    No. I'm not biasedly sick. I answered your question of why people viewed your topic but few responded.

    In addition, back late August; Trump's ''We're rounding the Corner''

    Response from his supporters; ''Trump was referring to vaccinations''

    Well, there will be how many corners?

    How Long Does Immunity from COVID-19 Vaccination Last?

    • New research finds that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines provide immunity for at least 6 months.
