about your question, in 50th many anti- Stalinist partisans were already NKVD agents. some just wanted to live, some unlucky, but usually, NKVD -SMERSH terrorists took UIA fighters entire families as the hostages, leaving free only one family member who had to bring to this UIA fighter a NKVD-deal.

Apparently, you have no idea what has happened in Japan. While Pearl Harbor was a military object, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were civil cities, and not military bases. This is first. Second, this was done not to finish the war with Japan, but as a "message" to Stalin. And last, but not the least. The same thing was done by US with respect to Dresden- they bombed the defenceless city to the ground while there was no need to do that- it did not have any military plants and there was no German army units there.

Nu-uh-uh. Many people fought in the war. On both sides. Some of the people did it with dignity, some did it with non. Some came back humans. Some never came back. Some came back with things that are not worthy of pride. And then people invent excuses, that they pass to descendants - "this was our land", "there was no other way", "they are barbarians", "this was so you should live", "we are leader of free world", "it was for the greater good". Good intentions. The stairway that we should've learned to not go down a long, long time ago.

 

Everything is propaganda that does not correspond to the real facts. Everything has to be proved, apart from propaganda. No philosophy is involved here.
