I haven’t moved my goalposts at all. I’ve said that I expected him to leave, but that he would never acknowledge that he had lost. I still believe that.

He lost fair and square but he will go to the grave claiming he really won and the election was stolen from him.

So far my prediction is exactly right. He might surprise me and acknowledge, at some point, that Biden legitimately won the election, but I doubt it.

And btw I’m not “on the left”. I am quite sure I’m to the right of you on some issues, left on others. You can’t put me in a single pigeonhole.

We didn't get a centralized government, in fact whenever Trump did take action he oft to use excuses, instead of authorizing his central authority.

No one's rights were violated, people who weren't authorized to be here in the first place were held in waiting for their statuses to be determined, in a manner consistent with the previous administration, etc.

I expect Republican Representatives to start collecting evidence for a Biden impeachment between 2021-2022. They probably already have a lot. However, that may be all for naught. Biden is likely to resign for "health reasons" after two years. So Republicans will need to work on impeaching Harris once retaking control of the House. Judging by Harris' personality, it shouldn't be hard to get her relatively quickly on the low-bar "Abuse of Power" set as precedent by Democrat Representatives.

 

And I imagine it will actually work should Republicans keep the Senate. You think Mitch McConnell will be all that interested in saving Harris's hide? Nah.

 

I hope so.

Because as long as he's around, as long as he has influence on the GOP, it will be impossible for a Republican President to get elected.

He already said that he would exit if the electoral college votes were certified with Biden the winner; but he also -- supposedly -- said that he would not concede the election; meaning that he will leave but not admit that Biden did anything other than steal the presidency. Do I need to 'splain that a fourth time?
