I'm new to this place and found out from a link a good friend of mine posted. I grew an interest in politics several years ago and decided to learn and engage in them more often. I'm mostly right leaning centrist with some libertarian viewpoints, but I always am looking to hear other viewpoints on things with people. A little about my personal life is that I'm currently a college student majoring in fish and wildlife. I plan to be a conservationist studying wolves and other animals in their natural environment. I spend my time making art and skateboarding, and am a big fan of science fiction. I hope to learn a lot here and hopefully expand my knowledge and debate skills with many of you.
Welcome, hope you have fun If you're into sci fi, you must read UBIK! Philip K Dick amazing book. You'll find there's quite a few of us Sci Fi nuts on here.
I'm just happy to be here. I look to get a better understanding of things by hearing other viewpoints as well as improving how I debate with people.
That is a good reason and if you bring along a sense of humor that will help you. So, again welcome and it does not matter what your political affiliation is
Another welcome! I started reading sci-fi in about 1956, and stopped around the early 80s when it started to be dystopian. Have you read any Robert Heinlein? An amazing, contradictory guy.
