InfoWars Host Alex Jones [Lawyer]...Admits He’s A Fraud

The infamous host of InfoWars, Alex Jones [Trump's second favorite source of information, after Breitbart], is currently in the middle of a custody battle for the three children he shares with ex-wife Kelly Jones, whose divorce was finalized in 2015. Though the original divorce settlement determined that Alex would have custody of the children, ages 14, 12, and 9, with limited visits with Kelly. However, Kelly is now pursuing joint or full custody because she claims that Alex is “unstable” and that the persona he uses on his radio talk show is genuine.

Surprisingly, Alex Jones and his attorneys beg to differ. His attorneys are reportedly using the argument that Alex’s persona is just that. Randall Wilhite, his lead attorney, stated in trial,

“He’s playing a character,” and that he’s a “performance artist.”

If you’re unfamiliar with InfoWars, perhaps the best term to describe Alex Jones’ is a “conspiracy theorist,” in which he is one of the people that ardently claims the Sandy Hook and Pulse nightclub shooting were fabricated by the government and that Hillary Clinton is assuredly running a pedophile sex ring out of a pizza joint in Washington D.C. He has been at the head of many unproven scandals and uses his website and YouTube as a platform to post his videos.

His ex-wife has said that despite what his attorneys are saying about the authenticity of his content and beliefs that she knows that he’s being genuine on his show.

“He’s not a stable person,” she reportedly told the court. “He says he wants to break Alec Baldwin’s neck. He wants J-Lo to get raped.”

“I’m concerned that he is engaged in felonious behavior, threatening a member of Congress,” she added, referring to Jones’ recent rant that included allusions to violence about Rep. Adam Schiff, D-California. “He broadcasts from home. The children are there, watching him broadcast.”

I am all aghast! The right wing and Donald Trump are being sleazed by a charlatan? Not possible!!! It must be a conspiracy.

 

This seems to boil down to one of two possibilities: Either he is a fraud, or he is unstable and too dangerous to be left with his children.

There is some poetic justice in this: For all the hate he has caused, and all the damage done to this country, it may cost him his children.

Like Jon Stewart, Bill Maher and Colbert, Alex Jones adopts a persona... just like every political entertainer on the planet. How dishonest and stupid does one have to be to call that a "fraud?" Are Hollywood actors "frauds" too? How bout pundits who have writers, are they "frauds" because they didn't write every scrap of their own material. Where did Alex Jones claim to be some kind of political scientists.

It would take a sub 80 IQ peabrain to watch Jones' spiels and rants and take them at face value, claim they had been "defrauded." Don't go outside and look up in the rain, you'll drown.

 

He has done very well fleecing the people that pay for his lifestyle while spewing divisive rhetoric. Basically he tells chumps that they are being chumped and they pay him to hear it.

Yep, Alex is laughing all the way to the bank.....only reason to admit his sham is because he no longer wants his wife (ex) to profit along with him, she currently gets $43,000 a month and will hurt him in the pocket even harder if she gets the kids as well.

 

What "hero" are you talking about? Everyone on the right knows that Alex Jones is either acting or he's nuts. I know several people who decided to not attend the open carry rally at the Alamo a couple of years ago because AJ finagled a speaking position, taking away from the credibility of the event.

There is a huge difference between Jones and Art Bell. Bell wasn't fostering hate. He wasn't getting rich by destroying the country.

"Playing a character" refers to his personality and mannerisms while on the air, not to the facts that hes delivering.

This article has taken that statement and erroneously applied it to create a bit of gotcha-fake-news.

Having only caught his show only twice, I have to say the facts he's delivering are complete BS, half truths and outright lies, so I'm not sure what your driving at there.

Alex Jones is an idiot. I personally can't stand to listen to him or watch him. I don't really care who gets custody of his kids. That's up to the court.

 

The premise that a claim made in a bitter custody battle that Alex is a bad person, defended by the fact that his on-air personality is not his true self, does not mean hes "admitting hes a fraud".

This gotcha-fake-news story made a connection that would only appeal to confirmation bias.

Whatever your opinions of Alex and his show are, I'm sure you're able to see the logic in this.

I knew he was faking it as soon as I heard his interview with Mike Judge. He sounded like a different man in that, and he and Mike did a little talking shop.
