Talked with some of my contemporaries over the weekend and found out that Trump is now leading against any Dem in the state of Virginia by what amounts to about 90,000 votes. The most significant swing has been by Black voters who are just as turned off by the recent attempts to confiscate guns and impose costly permits and registration fees. Just shows what happens when the guarantees afforded within the Constitution come into play down at the local level.
The drive to register 25,000,000 Evangelicals who were not registered in 2016 includes many who live in rural Virginia. President Trump: "25 Million Evangelical Christians are not registered to vote. We are working hard to get them registered! @robertjeffress @LouDobbs" Plus the fact that Trump is flipping Black voters Black Likely Voter approval for @realDonaldTrump at 34%. We then found out that a recent widely quoted @EmersonPolling Registered Voters based poll showed Black Voter approval for @POTUS at 34.5%.
Not many mining jobs and those growing are metallurgical coal. There's been a slight increase in US steel production. Not enough to drive major voting trends. The good news is that Democrats registered tons of black voters in 2018. While the registered voter count increased from 2016 to 2018, the votes counted decreased due to the lack of midterm enthusiasm. When black voters express their appreciation for the jobs Trump created for them, remind us to thank you for registering our new voters.

The Dems have done nothing as of now to reverse the 2016 results in the purple states. If anything, they've further alienated the people in those states.

Not really. Many of the counties in western VA are mining counties....or right next to all of them in southern WV. Tazewell and McDowell, for example.
Biden is normal and a return to normalcy is what people want. 4 years of Trump even with prosperity is still worse than a major war.

Wait until Durham starts handing down his criminal indictments, then they'll really start screaming. The best thing that could happen to the US is another 4 years of President Trump and a Special Council to go after Schiff and his coup attempt.
Durham has already indicated any indictments will be of little consequence, which will start the cons screaming again. Durham seems to be heading into obscurity like Horowitz and Huber. Americans value normalcy most, and Trump is not normal.
