I've been curious about some folks here on this forum. I cut off direct tv when my last kid got married so all I have is Apple TV. Typically when my alarm clock wakes me up at 4:30am, I surf current events on my phone for 30 minutes or so, do the three S's and hit the grind for 8. Am radio entertains me during my commute, might surf a bit waiting for the waiter to bring my lunch, AM radio on the drive home, and maybe surf after I retire for the day. But I see posters on this forum that spend their entire day, every day here. How do these people earn a living? I understand some may be retired but really? This is how you spend your golden years? Is arguing your life away on a political forum the message you want carved in your grave marker? Some members post count is beyond my comprehension.
Maybe some people are disabled too, so they can't just go out and do things that other people might be able to do. I knew a guy on a forum who posted all day, and he was disabled and couldn't leave his house. Sad.
Wow, where do you live, Alaska? FM radio is much better, I can tell you that. Haven't listened to AM radio for decades. As for tne other part, some people don't have to earn a living to post on a forum. What about Mr. Hades?
When the golf courses are closed...I spend lots of time in the forums. During the day it might seem I am on most of the day...but what I do is post...and then go do things around the house...then come back...post...then go do things that have to be done. Some people enjoy it. You seem rather negative toward people who enjoy being involved here. What's up with that?
I check my email after my 1st cup o' joe. Reply to my notifications. I've got a 10 min. commute, 30 min. of paperwork, and then I post from the office.
My job consists of being available if I'm needed. The Internet keeps me entertained during downtime. Nice to get paid for slapping liberals around. Lol
