Internet use freezes my computer?

    Bring up the task manager and under the processes tab check to see what task is taking all your cpu process cycles and report back.

    Sorry I did not see that you can not bring up the task manager my next suggestion is whatever browser you are using try another browser such as firefox, or chrome or whatever.

    Oh you might wish to check your hard drive using the tools that come with windows found under properties of your c drive.

    Newer computers have a Mirror segment of Windows on the drive, and it restores Windows to its original Install, this also eliminates all of your saved and installed programs, if Windows is corrupted badly enough, it may be the only solution that works.
    Save everything that you need, bear in mind if you have a virus or other malware, you might end up saving it too, to be re-installed.

    Check in settings.

    Restore is an earlier version of your Windows set-up usually you set it up, if you didn't, you may not have a restore point, you need to check in settings, restore.
