A pro-Israeli activist residing in Dublin, Ireland, was shocked this week when he discovered that a Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) organization had taped yellow stickers on Israeli products reading "For justice in Palestine, Boycott Israel".
Among the many items found carrying the yellow boycott sticker was a pack of dates from the Jordan Valley. One of the stickers read: "Organic dates – produce of West Bank; Israeli Settlement Produce."
The call for boycott is directed not only at products made in Israeli settlements but at Israeli products altogether – even though the sticker notes the product was made in the West Bank. Similar stickers were placed on other products in the Tesco supermarkets chain.
Tesco is a British chain originally established by Jewish businessman Jack Cohen, the son of Jewish immigrants from Poland. Cohen's grandchildren and great-grandchildren reside in Israel. The chain operates hundreds of grocery stores in Ireland as well.

Yes, my Arab "friends", Let's boycott Israel.
Let's put Yellow patches on all Jews, You sure would like it Ya Arabs.
Arabs forget one thing - because they hate Palestinians the most, the want the "Palestinian problem ( wound )" to
keep bleeding.. If Israel's economy hurts than Their neighbors will also suffer.
Many of them work and make a living with the Israelis.
Palestinian hatred is the cause to their misery.

Have you considered the destruction of nearly 800,000 olive trees and what that means for the Palestinians?

    Gilo:

Here's some information on the Palestinian Olive industry.. and the numbers.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/showthread.php?t=330714

The majority of Palestinian farmers depend almost entirely on the cultivation of olives, which are a major contributor to the national income. Nearly 45% of agricultural land in the occupied territories is planted with olive trees, with at least 12 million trees, predominantly in the West Bank.

It is estimated that in a year of good weather, the land can yield 34,000 tonnes of olive produce, the equivalent of 160 million to 190 million dollars, or 15-19%, of all agricultural output - about one quarter of the gross national income in the agricultural sector. Approximately 95% of the harvest is intended for the production of oil, of which, albeit with many difficulties, a very high percentage is exported worldwide. The remaining 5% of produce is divided between wood processing and the manufacturing of soaps.

Well we already know that you think chopping down a tree is worse than chopping off an Jewish babies head so it is no wonder you would try to obfuscate this situation which is so clearly reminiscent of yellow stars of David being placed over Jewish shops in Nazi Germany and which is so prototypical of the true nature of the BDS movement which in reality is an anti-Semitic movement sponsored by Hamas and Islamic fundamentalists who seek not only the destruction of Israel but the extermination of the Jews.

Furthermore, what is you source for the 800,000 claim?

It has already been proven that Arabs and their radical western supporters have been caught cutting down their own trees and blaming it on the settlers:

Settlers: Arabs, leftists staged 'price tag' act

Palestinians, leftwing activists documented while sawing trees in bid to accuse settlers

Why don't Israel put large yellow "made in Israel" stickers on their own exports since according to many posters Israel is still very popular in the west hence the stickers should help their sales.....

These are products not people.. And a boycott is just a form of protest over the treatment of the Palestinians. Jews had always lived in the Arab world until the Rise of Zionism in Europe..

Meanwhile Israel is confiscating more land, building more settlement and building a wall to shut out Jordan... and, crippling the Palestinian olive oil industry while they yowl about this boycott in Ireland.

lmfao, your source is a) Juan Cole, and b) he says and I quote: "Israelis are estimated to have destroyed some 800,000 olive trees since Israel militarily occupied the Palestinian West Bank in 1967," estimated by who exactly? He provides absolutely no source for his claim just like you, Juan Cole is estimated to be spouting propaganda and lies 99.9% of the time he opens his mouth.

I see no difference between the yellow Stars of David placed of Jewish shops by the Nazi's, same Nazi bull(*)(*)(*)(*) just another day.

Jews have always been persecuted in the Arab world since Mohammad perpetrated genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Banu tribes on the Arabian peninsula.

BS they are simply building more homes within the lands and apartments within the territory which they have already settled on.

Shut Jordan out of what? Which wall are you talking about?

When the Arabs and their radical western supporters aren't cutting them down themselves right?

    - - - Updated - - -

You provided 1 source for you 800.000 claim and that source is Juan Cole who provides no source of his own, why don't you provide the source for the estimation which Juan Cole claims?

Bibi is building another wall on the Jordanian border... Its pretty much a no brainer for killing the peace process. They have also annexed hundred more acres of land.

It's no surprise that you would want yellow Stars of David placed on Jewish products just like the Nazi's did in the third Reich.

Source for either of those claims?

I know but the BDS folks are. The stores nor the state placed these stickers on Israeli products it was the radical neo-Nazi BDS extremists.

The only actual source contained in the article is a unnamed official who didn't even confirm that it was a go:

An Israeli official confirmed to The Telegraph that the barrier was under consideration but said that a final decision had yet to be taken.

Such a high standard of evidence you have.

The Israeli newspaper, Maariv, reported that Mr Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister, had ordered work to begin as soon as another fence currently being built on the country's southern border with Egypt's Sinai Peninsula is completed.

    snip

"The Israeli premier's statements on building a wall in the Jordan Valley is only a proactive step to foil Secretary Kerry's visit," Nabil Abu Radeineh, a spokesman for Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority president, told the Wafa news agency.

In another development certain to trigger Palestinian outrage, Israel issued tenders for 1,859 settlers' homes in East Jerusalem and the West Bank on Sunday, according to Peace Now, an Israeli anti-settlement group.

Margot2 frequently doesn't know which side she's debating on. For example:
    1. Someone talked about the Wife beating aspect of Islam. Margot said "Its only a miswak" (a little stick for cleaning the mouth) - post link
    2. When I asked her to produce a source for that claim, she then refuted her own argument by saying that the claim was supported by a source which was weak.

She spent some time in the Middle East and made some Muslim friends. On this board she defends Islam like any Muslim would.

"The EU could start by differentiating between Israeli goods and those produced in illegal Israeli settlements", they write in the British daily. "Correct labelling of settlement goods is not an anti-Israeli policy. It is pro-consumer, pro-peace and pro-international law".

    snip

Goods -- including fruit, vegetables, cosmetics, textiles and toys -- worth €220 million are exported to the EU from "settlements" each year.

The value of agricultural products in the Jordan Valley "settlements" is estimated at about €100 million per year. More than 80% of dates from the Jordan valley are grown for export, mainly France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Scandinavian countries. Ahava makes $17 million in profit from exports every year in products sold across Europe in branded Ahava stores as well as in pharmacies and retail chains. SodaStream produces home devices for carbonation of water and soft drinks. Its products, also known under the brand name Soda Club, are manifactured in the industrial zone of Ma’ale Adumim.
