Imagine the headline....Black father and son charged with murder of white man ?

Do you think the left and the majority of the msm would call it racist?

Of course they would & who ever wrote the article & who ever approved it, would be out of a job and future employment would be questionable. They would forever be called racists.

We all know that there is a double standard in the media for racist actions.

If a black man and his son killed a white man, race would not be an issue.

The headline would just be father and son charged with murder.

Thoughts?

 

1. Is it racially motivated? Apparently in this case the answer is yes.
2. The better question to ask is when is race important to include?

 

If an African-American man and his son had killed a White man, you can rest assured they would have been arrested the same day. They wouldn't have walked away Scot-free (for 73 days) until a video and public outcry led to their arrest.
Just wanted to mention that difference.

 

If a black guy killed a white guy, race would never be in the headline.

The father and son were arrested after the video of the shooting came out the other day.

Before that the only video the cops had was of the black guy trespassing / casing the inside of a house he did not known.

He appeared to be the criminal that had been stealing in the neighborhood.

The fact that the black guy went for the gun takes murder1 hard to prove, so it will probably end in a manslaughter conviction if anything.

I bet you also felt thug Michael Brown was a victim, when he actually got what he deserved.

 

You do not know any of that for a fact. You're just spouting off. It all goes to motive and state of mind, and that is still being investigated in this case. These guys have not yet been charged with a hate crime. The headline is factual. It is also factual that the local prosecutor botched the initial investigation and dragged their feet on it until a damaging video surfaced. It is also factual that this kid was just jogging by minding his own business when he was ambushed by the guys. You tell me, what was the motive? And you have no reason to believe that if the perpetrators were black, and the victim was white, that those same questions would not be asked.

3. Those good old boys who shot him could not have even known about the trespass at the time of the shooting

When a white man kills a black man it is covered around the clock for days and the article starts with the race in the headline.

Thr convicted black man is identified as a california man in the headline , while the father and son are identified as white.

They do the same thing with politics.
Christine Blasey Ford sexual assault with no facts was covered in over 700 stories on CNN.

It took CNN over a month to print 1 story about Tara Reade against Biden and there were far more facts.

There are plenty more on this story from CNN, but not one story about a black man who assassinated the white elderly couple.

He had no right being in that house - he was trespassing & a 911 call was made by another concerned citizen.

The father and son will be acquitted if the DA goes for Murder1 & does not allow a Murder2 or manslaughter conviction.

When the black man attacked the white man with the gun, he opened the door for an acquittal.

Manslaughter would be there best bet for a conviction.

Oh and if someone points a gun at you & you act foolish like the black man, you better hope I am not on the jury. You would be dead anyways, but the shooter would walk unless they went for a manslaughter conviction.

Why does CNN keep running stories about the white on black murder & ignore the clearly racist murder of a white couple ????

I watch the ABC national news with David Muir nightly & again last night they ran the same segment they ran Friday on the 2 month old white on black killing, but they did not report on 2 white elderly people shot over the weekend by a racist black man.

There was nothing new with the father and son killing other than they now have a black DA on the case. They were both arrested last week and held without bail. There was nothing new to report.

This is like Michael Brown all over again & he got what he deserved for going for the cops gun.

Unless they go for manslaughter this is not going to end well.

The blacks will riot & loot and they will go home with Cognac & a flatscreen TV as the city burns.

 

So the good old boys acted as judge , jury and executioner for a "crime" -if it was that at all- that would not warrant the death penalty.

I think it comes down to intent. If the intent of the headline is to claim that black people are inherently more violent, then yes. If it is simply to provide information and context to the reader, then no.
