Is America close to something of a Civil War?

People like you who post to discussion forums like politicalforum tend to be quite well educated and your incomes tend to be at least double if not triple the national average..

I noticed the result to a poll that indicates to me that the next two to four months could be some of the most violent in USA history since the anti- Vietnam War demonstrations of the '60's..... and frankly.... this situation could potentially end up looking at least somewhat like the events of the time of President Lincoln...... at least in a lot of major cities.

For a third of you to believe that what is happening is a GOP hoax.............. does not bode well for the next two to four months being peaceful..... if things work out as I believe that they will.

There is always some voter fraud.. .but under cover of COVID 19... it seems obvious that matters went to a whole new level that was not possible in 2016.

In my opinion.... listening to Rudy Giuliani from the fourteen minute mark in this video.... (the audio gets good after about the fifteen minute mark).... .and he wraps up his major arguments around the twenty seven minute mark...... will at least help you to become aware of why this situation is so emotionally charged for so many.

Let's face it.... Joe Biden hardly even bothering to campaign...... would tend to make anybody a little suspicious as to what he knew about why he didn't have to worry too much about losing this 2020 Presidential election????????? ......

 

No we're not close to a civil war, or at least not yet. Biden won the election, by fair means or foul, and that meant the feared Antifa/BLM rioting never occurred.

 

I have to admit that if Biden is confirmed in January.... you are correct..... very little or even zero rioting will happen..... but I don't think that Biden will be confirmed.

All indications are that Biden will be confirmed. State legislatures haven't been expressing an appetite to overturn their states elections. PA, MI, and GA have all certified. Biden did campaign throughout 2020 - he even showed up to some debates. Your other thread positing some 20K votes switched from Georgia did not materialize in the recount of the paper ballots, yet you soldier on believing.

The fear of election fraud is like many political things based on a very small kernel of truth, and blown way out of proportion by those with self serving purposes, ideologues, and propagandists. Your propensity to believe that which feeds upon your fears leaves you unable to critically examine claims on their merits. Specifically:

The claims made by the likes of Giuliani of electoral rigging are extraordinary. How many thousands of individuals would need to be in the know to successfully pull off such a scheme? And you mean to tell me the best evidence he can come up with are witnesses who claim they were unable to fully see the process and thought they saw anomalies? Or re-counters in Georgia who thought it odd that the bubbles seemed filled too perfectly because they clearly aren't even aware of how their own system works? Or people who can describe how the dominion software works, but not how it was used specifically in this election?

Where are the secretly recorded tapes of officials telling poll workers how to scan ballots multiple times? Where are the emails telling officials how to take advantage of the dominion software? Where are the documents listing dead individuals to use as names on the voting registrar? Where are the investigations of the police departments, attorney generals, and agencies that were tipped off beforehand of this massive scheme?

Making your tale bigger and more convoluted with a myriad of ways cheating took place, requiring more and more people to pull off does not make your story more plausible. It makes it incredible.

There is a thing known as Occam's Razor, which you should consider applying to such tall tales. Essentially, the simplest explanation is usually the right one. It is thus: Trump is a simple man who gets his news from right wing outlets, and like you believes in far fetched conspiracy theories.

Unlike you, he has a massive bully pulpit that has given far more credence to these accusations than they deserve or would have gotten in the past:

 

Highly unlikely you'll ever see a civil war anytime soon; most of the trump supporters are either way too old or are on life support to engage in a shooting war and most of the Biden supporters would refuse to put down their playstation controls to go out and fight in a war.

We all know that the rioting and civil unrest will NOT be done by Republicans.... so..... every Democrat who becomes well informed and realizes that there are things about all of this that are very, very, very suspicious........... decreases the over all level of anger and blind hatred that people can only have if they have zero or at least extremely low comprehension of the case that can be presented by their political opponents.......!

Being more well informed can make life rather confusing.... but it also tends to make us less angry...... and self - righteous!

If President Trump is confirmed in January of 2021 there will be some civil unrest... but by being more well informed about the testimonies that Americans are risking their careers and lives to give..... you will be able to calm some of your friends down at least somewhat..... and frankly.... lives and property can be saved if you are well informed about both sides of this.

I admit that Joe Biden did pretty good in the Presidential debate that I saw him in.......
he did a lot better than I had expected.....
but...... he did not seem to take this election serious and I suspect it was perhaps due to the advice of some computer experts telling him that they had this covered for him................ .which of course made those computer experts seem more important..... more indispensable in the future..... Those theoretical computer experts who may have convinced Mr. Biden that this was going to be a walk in the park for him.......... would of course be taking care of themselves and of course they would be expecting to be well compensated in the future............ The odds of their winning at the gamble that they seem to have taken would I suppose be better than the odds they would face if they had invested a similar amount of time and money in Vegas?!


Whoever advised Mr. Biden to do so few campaign rallies ..... was probably not taking care of Mr. Biden... I think that they were looking out for themselves!

and the very fact that the testimony from Philadelphia got over two million views on one youtube video and nearly a million on another version of it in less than one day, bodes well for Americans becoming more well informed over the coming weeks which....... should translate into less anger in the event that Biden is NOT inaugurated in January.

Over the coming weeks and months it seems to me that Bernie supporters are in a position to play an important role in being Democrats who enthusiastically support indictments for anybody who was involved in voter fraud..... because....... As far as a physical civil war, I don't see that happening. Sure, Antifa is still out at night destroying and defacing property. They will continue, and there will be the "usual" confrontations between Antifa rallies versus anarchist groups like Boogaloo Bois or pro-American Proud Boys. But as @gamewell45 alluded to, actual "war" is for the young rebels.

That is not to say that a psychological civil war is not already in full swing. The DNC, left-wing media, and big tech giants are on attack and are likely to go on to full bore assault of free speech and silencing of dissidents if Biden takes office.

But you must trust the resilience and commitment to freedom of the American people. Look at CNN's recently attacking social media competitor Parler, calling it a "threat to Democracy". They can't allow alternative viewpoints and opinions go off to a separate platform like Parler in response to Twitter's censorship. People are moving from Twitter to Parler and from YouTube to Rumble. Unless Democrats manage to write legislation giving near-monopolies like Twitter/YouTube/Google unbreakable and complete monopoly power, then competitors will rise in the market.

Silencing political opponents may work "on the surface", but squashing freedom only drives people to find another place to speak freely...and more loudly.

Could further division and divide cause a hostile, physical civil war some day? Perhaps, but I think our political civil war will not turn bloody. I think two years of a Biden administration will shove millions of people to the right, and with so much scrutiny today on how easy it is to hack into voting systems, the election hardware/software security issues should be resolved by 2022.

On one level....... USA judges are aware of how extreme the political left can be so their fear of reprisals by the left does have some logic in it.

A Mr. Jarrin Jackson does a good job of explaining what he thinks is on the mind of President Trump.

He believes that the vehemence of the political left has President Trump pushed into a corner where he will likely have Hunter Biden indicted because apparently all of the money transfers to Hunter Biden are known........ and then all of the transfers of roughly half from Hunter to his dad are known......... so President Trump can easily use a military court to indict the two of them but then it will not likely stop there.

Over this past year the political left of the USA have proven how far they will go to dominate and control...... so President Trump knows that he still has several days to move against them..... he cannot wait until January 20.....

Trump lost. He simply didnt get enough votes. More people voted against him than for him.

There was no wide spread voter fraud. This is also fact.

Trump has no basis what so ever to remain in power.
