It seemed a little early to condemn NFL teams for freezing out Colin Kaepernick. Barely a week had gone by in free agency. With one exception — albeit a grotesque, borderline-obscene one — not many quarterbacks had been coming off of the market. Bleacher Report’s Friday story on how front-office types still want nothing to do with him for his protests during the national anthem shined another light on it.

Still, it’s a long offseason. It only takes one team rowing against the tide. And, again, even the Jay Cutlers were still looking for work, never mind a part-time starter fighting against a scarlet letter.

Then, this week, Nick Foles signed with the Eagles.

EJ Manuel signed with the Raiders.

Geno Smith signed with the Giants, soon after Josh Johnson, last year's backup, re-signed.

Josh McCown set up a visit with the Jets.

And, of course, this all was after Mike Glennon signed with the Bears for $18.5 million guaranteed.

Come on. Stop it. Do not ever say Colin Kaepernick can't get a job because he's not good enough.

Think of a better excuse. Think of a better lie. Hey, even try telling the truth — this time, on the record.

But don’t feed everybody the "It’s because Kaepernick is a trash quarterback" line. Everybody’s full, thank you.

What? No one is willing to spend millions of dollars to give him a national stage to protest the United States? Well, he didn't want to be a professional football player anyway. He wants to be a professional attention whore.

15 seconds of fame tends to be quite short as the years roll by.

I love it, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy. I recall a couple PF posters saying his sales and popularity skyrocketed because his anti-American stance. Now look at him, a piece of **** and now a has been. I absolutely love it. I hope his sorry ass doesn't get back into the NFL. He's been over privileged his entire life, go wash dishes now, bitch.

Could it be how much Colin is asking for? Is he demanding to start? You know important things in FA specially with QB's

Good, hope he is being black-listed.

Nobody wants to play with a belligerent bigoted racist.

I'd like to point out that Kaepernick had a 59% completion, 2,241 passing yards, 16 TDs to 4 INTs this past season, after having to not play the first 4 games. Hardly bad stats. In any case, no real reason to blackball him, especially when nothing he did was wrong.

He could start a tag-team with Hogan, another bigot. They could call it the New World Odor.

Small stature lets call him who insists on running. Again we dont know what he is looking for as far a contract either.

Performers were afraid to perform for Trump out of fear of being blackballed and Hollywood kicks you to the curb just for being conservative. Anyway, adios Cap, hope you never need a cop.

He's not particularly small either, he's 6'4" and 230. As for a contract, I'm not sure what he's asking either but I can think of at least 2 teams who need skills like his. Chicago comes to mind and almost anything could be a step up from Jay Cutler. Houston or the NY Jets could also use all the help they can get at the QB position.

Romo going to Houston makes sense. Who is "Daniel" in regards to the Jets?

Um, I guess now it's Josh McCown who's actually going to the Jets.

I'm sure Kaepernick can find a team that will gladly accept his anti-Americanism... somewhere up in the Canadian Football League, eh?

It's your claim, it's on you to prove it.
It's just as possible that RP12 is correct and his contract expectations are too high. It's also possible they are only too high because he also brings along bad PR. Bad press will lower your value in sports.

Bad antics from one will usually contibute one's own 'value'.

He frankly hasn't been a very good quarterback...and certainly not with his price tag for signing him.

His lightening rod personality doesn't help either.

He is not a dependable NFL QB, and he is wildly unpopular, in a PR-driven industry. No one wants that pariah around their team, which, of course, he and other idiots will try to blame on "race", as usual.

Technically, he didn't do anything wrong, but personality counts. You can be really great at something, but if you're an insufferable ****** people tend to not wanna work with you. I don't give a rip about his opinions, or what he does, but other people do, apparently, so he has to lay down in the bed he made.

No team wants him because he is a garbage QB. The seahawks owned his behind every time they played him. He cant go through his progressions well and cant put any touch on a pass.

He is going to be 30 during the NFL season and he relies heavily on his legs. Combined with his antics this past year its not really a secret teams arent knocking down his door

That and he might want to start or want alot of money....I mean Adrian Peterson hasnt signed yet and hes probably still a top 10 RB in the league

No, it's clearly racism. What else could it possibly be? :)
