More hogwash! Like I said, you could not show a single instance of Ranked Voting leading to communism...
so now instead you call it disenfranchising the voters??? How the heck is it disenfranchising the voters?????

    disenfranchisement:
"The state of being deprived of a right or privilege, especially the right to vote."

If anything, Ranked Voting methods such as Instant Runoff or Ranked Pairs strengthen the right to vote compared to Plurality
by allowing voters to more accurately express their wishes while reducing the effects of things like spoiler candidates.
That is in no way to say that you are stupid, but again let's not go misconstruing things to the level of farce!

Meta, what is more accurate than choosing the candidate you think will most successfully represent you? One person equals one vote. You call for one person to have more than one vote. That violates election laws and is unconstitutional.

There is nothing farcical about what I suggested. If the last candidate on the ballot was Mickey Mouse and no one else could win the election, MM would be chosen by combining all votes so that he received more than... let's say just for example, Trump.

Nope not one bit. In the general election one of the two is going to win. Regardless if you are a dem or a repub you will have to live with whomever gets in. So why not have a say as to who is nominated.

It's enfranchisement and disfranchisement. Why it has evolved to disENfranchisement in common usage I don't know. You don't disenable something. You enable or disable.

    disfranchise
    [ dis-fran-chahyz ]
verb (used with object), dis·fran·chised, dis·fran·chis·ing.
to deprive (a person) of a right of citizenship, as of the right to vote.
to deprive of a franchise, privilege, or right.

In Colorado you can be an "unaffiliated voter" and vote in any party's primary you like. I quit the Republican Party in 2017 because of all the stinking, back-stabbing RINO's, so now I can cast a primary vote among Democrats or any other party's candidates I want to, for any reason I like... but, of course, only ONE of them... you can't vote among Democrats, then go vote among Republicans, etc.

And here you go to the primary voting and tell them which primary you want to vote in they are separate votes. They record that and if there is a run off in the other parties primary you won't be on the list of voters for that runoff.

It's like nominating and placing in place a bantamweight to fight against a heavyweight, it's sort of manipulation and eventually considered witty and cunning.

What is wrong is not being able to vote for your favorite choice. The party doesn't matter. No one should be labeled a Republican, Democrat or Independent. That's wrong and causes division.

Each State has it's own rules, yes?
    Some may not allow.
