It's done to everyone all the time. If you do nutty things we call a psychiatrist and they make a decision as to whether you should be examined further. Trump's case is complicated by the fact that he's a totally dishonest crook and an ill mannered bad tempered lout as well, It's hard to tell how much this is due to his illness but I have known narcissists who were actually very pleasant people. Mental illness of several kinds will actually HELP one to become successful Sociopathy is the main example of this and I have also heard that high functioning Asberger's can be helpful to success.
Again, it's done all the time with all kinds of illness. It's not a FINAL diagnosis, but it's possibly the most common way people get referred fo anything.
I question the sanity of anyone who makes posts like this. But you probably think everyone who accepts the income tax should be committed
I DID pay taxes, Foxy, and I continue to pay taxes and fees to this very day! Did I not make that perfectly CLEAR?! I use highways, bridges, etc., etc., and I pay taxes for their construction, maintenance, and all the rest of it. Did I not make THAT perfectly clear, either? I also pay for a signficant number of government 'services' I don't use, have never used, and will never use -- welfare systems and public schools among them! Think: who paid for public schools when WE went to them? YOUR PARENTS! MY PARENTS! But, what about people who never had any children at all?! Why were they forced to pay a huge percentage of their property taxes to support public schools? Who the hell were they paying for? I went to public schools, and later I paid my own way (entirely) to put myself through the Univ. of Texas at Austin, earning a Bach. of Science degree with honors. Nobody 'gave' me anything, and that was perfectly fine with me! Do you really not see the inherent total UNFAIRNESS of taxation systems that extract money out of you to pay for things you do not use at all? No... all good little socialists are blind to that. On the other hand, we ALL should pay for many of the other things you mentioned, including roads, bridges, and police/fire departments, court systems, etc. -- because we ALL use them or rely on them for common public safety and law enforcement. I'm not sure what all this has to do with the hogwash about Trump supposedly being "mentally ill"... but I still say that anyone who cannot even support himself who is perfectly capable OF supporting himself is the one who is obviously mentally -- and ethically -- deficient, to say the least. Actually, more like a PARASITE, if we call it what it REALLY is....
I'm not a psychiatrist so my "diagnosis" of "He's as batty as a belfry" is nothing but an unqualified opinion and nobody cares. Stalin never really called people crazy as he wouldn't be able to shoot someone who was sick. That came later under Khruschev and Brezhnev particularly.
Et tu, Aleks? OK, have at it then! Tell us all why you know that Donald Trump -- and myself -- are "mentally ill"? You've questioned my "sanity"... even though I've said repeatedly that I DO PAY TAXES, you want to add an accusation that I think "everyone who accepts the income tax should be committed"...? Based on WHAT, Aleks? Like many citizen taxPAYERS, I pay and pay and pay.... Does that kind of reckless, groundless, senseless accusation reflect an unstable mentality in yourself...?
Paid for by others...your parents didn't support the school all by themselves. Educating American citizens helps America...and I realize that. I pay for the military and I don't like that but we shouldn't be spoiled children who think they can pick and choose what every penny of our taxes go for...that's a fairy tale Utopian impractical and just plain childish idea. You didn't build and fund the University by yourself. It's unfair some, like corporations, pay no taxes at all and yet use what our taxes have paid for....I think I'll be more upset by those welfare moochers than anything else. No, good little socialists are much more pragmatic than that...they know a country should take care of it's citizens...all of them. That's a switch, you sure didn't seem to like that in your first post (???) There ya go again, saying we all should build our own roads, ya know, be independent... I never mentioned whether someone could support themselves or not ,,why are you brining it up? Trump never supported himself...he, and corporations, are the real parasites...
FoxHastings said: ↑ . So he's smarter than extremely stupid people... OK...quite a recommendation.... Sorry that went right over your head...
There is no good response to this. The only appropriate response is that only a fool would try to diagnose mental illness without a personal interview by a trained psychiatrist.
Pollycy said: ↑ Yeah... all of you hyperliberals come to the same conclusions. BASED ON WHAT?! Total subjectivity? The fact that he's not a drooling, illegal alien-loving, America-hating, socialistic liberal? Good, solid logical reasoning, right? And our opponents in the world are laughing their asses off at us!
So, if a person gets out on the freeway, naked except for a grass skirt and a top hat, and starts shooting up passerbys and then runs into a building and shoots all the people in it while screaming "I am a genius"...YOU don't think he has a mental problem because he hasn't been interviewed by a psychiatrist? Uh,OK.
Could be drugs. So, yes. Just watching actions from afar does not make for a mental illness diagnosis. I thought you liberals thought science was important...
So Trump could be on drugs.....maybe that's why he sucks air up his nose after every sentence…. OK, now I have to figure out which is worse, his being on drugs or just being daft....either way he ACTS like he's mentally ill... If someone puts on an act like he's mentally ill, isn't that a form of mental illness?? But my point is still solid, a person does NOT have to meet a person to determine mental illness...what would shaking there hand tell you??
...or those making up scenarios that never happened in order to have something, anything, to post.....
Uh DUHHHHHHH, that is what is known as an example.....an example to make a point. The following is a scenario with no point: Hoosier8 said: ↑ You mean if a President gets on the news and you disagree with his actions (actions that have been very positive) you want to 'scream uselessly at the sky' about insanity. It appears those screaming uselessly at the sky need some therapy.
