President Trump and some of the members of his team impress me as the type of people who would take some time to research a truly colossal infrastructure project that was designed as an alternative way to begin stabilization of the climate rather than a carbon tax.

One nation on earth has experienced COOLING in their climate since 1950. The nation was Israel and on a per capita basis they led the world in a combination of planting trees and in large scale desalination of ocean water for agriculture, reforestation projects and for towns experiencing drought conditions.

We know that turning deserts green can cool the climate within a decade...... but a carbon tax might not work for a century or much more.

What do you think of my Alternative Wall Theory?

An alternative wall..... to The Donald's Mexico - USA wall would include......
a massive ocean water desalination facility plus.......

a huge fish farm.... that extends along much of the alternative wall.........
infinite financing for the project will be made possible once we humans line up our
valuation of human life..... and all life..... more so along the line of how the being of light of
    NDE fame views life..........

This could easily be financed if.......

IQ is a poor barometer for insight into positive or negative traits.

About as useful as Glove, or Shoe size.

I'd hazard to say that there are nearly equal numbers of high IQ saints, as there are sinners who'd be MENSA members.

I don't trust Snopes, but here's an interesting look at the issue of Trump's IQ. Link: http://www.snopes.com/donald-trumps-intelligence-quotient/

Based on this information he may have an IQ of 145. Honestly, I don't know. Read the article and see what you think. My own IQ was fairly carefully measured at 132 - 135. Trump made "billions out of millions", so, he may surely be considerably more intelligent than I am. I've just retired as a very low-tier millionaire, but I started out with nothing.

Great article, thank you for this.

It is kind of encouraging that I was only a couple of points behind Grant!

I had read years ago though that President William Clinton was more like IQ 170?

That would make his personal IQ around 146 points higher than the entire Democratic Party's voter base, so it's probably close enough, considering those here who keep peddling the fake news put out by the assorted sites Democrats finance and set up to feed their 'True Believer' type clueless deviants and gimps their daily 'talking points' have a collective IQ of 2, maybe 3 at the end of the month when they can fill their prescriptions for anxiety meds and ritalin, and the collective IQ's of the 'New Atheists' spamming the Religion and Philosophy forum add up to minus 12 or so, and averaged with the brighter higher functioning sociopaths who know they're spewing bull(*)(*)(*)(*) but prefer chronic lying to facts, many of the latter of course working at these hack sites themselves, you're going to hit around maybe 10 collectively.

    He's certainly smart..:)
Wiki- "Trump graduated from University of Pennsylvania in May 1968 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics"
So with him in charge of the US economy you'll all soon be as rich as him and be able to afford toys like this..:)-

PS- What happened with Romney, did he turn down the job of Sec of State or what? I can hardly believe Trump offered him a job after Romney had badmouthed him on TV?
Wiki- "On November 19, Romney met with the President-elect at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, reportedly to discuss the position of Secretary of State, a position which ultimately went to Rex Tillerson"

Bill Clinton actually has a rather gifted intellectual mentality, IMHO. I've never cared for the man's political preferences, but I can grudgingly admire his sheer mental horsepower. Too bad none of that ever rubbed off on that stupid, arrogantly reckless, criminal bag he married. She was ALWAYS riding his coattails....

If there are no tests showing Trump's IQ how are people supposed to vote in OP's poll is it like a popularity contest?

I would do Ivanka, she's hot and smart and a very successful business woman.

I think she might even be a Republican.

A SAT of 1500 has certain implications.....
if I remember correctly I scored 1199 but I had bleeding ulcers when I was four years old.....
rheumatoid arthritis when I was 14..... so I was forced to read so many books that if I was any good
I really should have scored a lot higher?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/canad...under-informed-their-much-better-climate.html
Why are Americans so under-informed.... is it their much better climate?
That is the best theory that I can come up with so far......... On my way to Quito, Ecuador, on January 12, 2001, I was amazed how much warmer the weather was when I transferred from one plane to another!

My buddy Paul Dube..... drove me to the airport in an all out blizzard......... but when I landed in Newark, New Jersey....... Wow..... the snow was pretty much all melted.....(or maybe they hadn't even gotten much snow yet that winter)?????!

I am a very average Canadian...... I wrote the SAT back in 1979 or '80 in hopes of attending Ambassador College in Big Sandy Texas. If I read the results properly.... I scored 1199....... not a terrible score........ but certainly no better than the average first year North American university student but............ I can debate and argue with some of the greatest minds in America on almost any subject............... and I am wondering if it is because the weather is so much warmer.... that American women are wearing less clothes..... thus.... American guys are totally distracted most of the time.......... which significantly decreases their level of insight?!?!

No, I saw a study that was done and Trump's IQ was at the lower end of the presidents they studied. I don't remember quite what it was but I think it was in the 120's and quite a bit lower than Obama's.

I think I'm right in saying that IQ has nothing to do with plain old common sense and astuteness. For the former, the only thing one needs is a good memory for facts, and apart from impressing easily-impressionable people a fat lot of good that is! I realise it's just another stick with which to beat The Donald ( ) but I'm afraid the stick broke with the very first thwack!

:roflol: I think someone accidentally hit the "1" key for some odd reason. 56 seems far more likely.

He admits that he wants to be under estimated.......
and so he sets out to make himself look less than brilliant.....
but it sure has worked for the success of his businesses..........

Hillary made almost no effort to be likeable to ordinary people such as bodyguards,
maids, waitresses and other common people......
and look at how her strategy worked out for her?

It's a handy excuse. As for his business, he hires "the best people" to handle that for him. :D

Bannon is likely more IQistic than Trump. Trump strikes me as more wild than truly intelligent.

IQs over 130 are rare and far between. I'd say, based on nothing more than my own opinion, mind you, that Trump's IQ is between 110 and 120 - above average, but still quite mundane.

Intelligence has nothing to do with wisdom or morals. Most infamous criminals were also shockingly high IQ people, and yet they were sociopaths/psychopaths.

A resounding success so far, if it's indeed the case. Everybody by now is persuaded he is a stupid person.

I think Trumps abstract intelligence might be substandard but his concrete intelligence and intuition is above average. His EQ and verbal intellect are also subpar.

I think his thought process is non-verbal and more visual/object-sensing oriented. His understanding is deeper than his language. For a person whose thought process is mostly internally verbal and language based he would appear to be stupid. But I think much of the heavy lifted occurs in his subconscious which contributes to his ability to react and think quickly since his conscious mind is free to react instead of ponder and formulate. I think much of his knowledge also resides in his subconscious for quick acess to his subconscious mind. This i think leads to him 'knowing' things without a detailed recollection of how he obtained such knowledge or conclusions. His mindis very intuitive and based on the large picture which is good for goals but bad for details.
