    All those Homecoming's were something Special. It was always so up lifting to see the Wife and the kids on the pier. Thanks Seth.

    That is pretty sick. I'd forgotten there was a sax on that song. That damn riff was so overpowering. Duh Dunt, Dunt Da, Da Dunt Dunt Da.....

    That was Dan Hartman on bass and Rick Derringer on guitar.

    @Oh Yeah

    Did this tune make it onto your 1500 song list?

    Not in my list but a nice song. Linda had 21 Bill Board Top 40 hits. I put 5 in the Classic Rock Series and have 5 in a series of Classic Country Hits I made.

    Prior to 2000 Joel Whitburn use to publish a book of the Bill Board top 40. You can find his books on Amazon. Some different Genres also. I bought his Billboard Top 40 from 1955 - 2000 and started accumulating every song. Keeps me busy in retirement and people love it when I hand them a CD of about 50 - 100 songs that takes them back to better times. Now if you really want to dig into music try this link https://archive.org. It's a little hard to get around at first but it has a wealth of info on all kinds of topics. Lot's of free downloads. Lot's of Deadhead Concerts.

    That is very cool that you have pursued this as a retirement hobby. So you weren’t a DJ or in the business?

    I think I had a Joel Whitburn paperbound glossy, very cool as I recall. I may still have it, but due to Harvey all of my books and CDs and DVDs are in storage. 3 years. Ugh.

    I have so much music. I spent about $10k from 1988 to 2000 on CDs. Then I acquired somewhere around 75k tunes at work from clients and coworkers.

    Always had the jams going for many years and then I noticed I stopped.

    Saturated! I can hear so many songs from memory it’s like overexposed film, or something like that....

    Yes I did DJ in the 80's and early 90's. I understand about that spending money. My first CD, which I still have, was Phil Collins Face Value. I was the first DJ in my area to use CD's . Still enjoyed spinning vinyl records because they were easier to blend and mix. My other hobby is repairing slot machines but that is getting very costly if you need any chrome work done. I have 2 machines and when I get them fixed I'm moving on to something else.
