Then I think you missed a couple pages. There are many Americans, myself included, that find the information useful because I want to know what my employees are doing, especially if it involves using electronic devices in my home to spy on me. Exposing this kind of activity is good damage.:)

    See what I wrote above.

Let's suppose Russia were to fall tomorrow. Who takes Russia's place in Eurasia? As it stands right now, probably China(if anybody at all.) Do we have even remotely better relations with China then we do the Russians? At least Russia doesn't own our debt massively like the Chinese do. Though one can argue it's a double-edged sword that would require the US-Chinese to remain on a neutral level playing field at least. But ultimately, China gaining a hold on Eurasia would strengthen the Chinese position and ultimately relegate the US to a second fiddle.

The US has to make one of the Eastern Powers into a Western Ally, in order to obtensibly weaken both. For all the problems of Russia, Russia would have no problems with(and would prefer) to retain what is seen as a historic grip on power in the Eurasian hemisphere. I would rather have a Eurasian power that cannot harm us(Russia) as opposed to the one who could(China.)

We need someone who can stabilize Eurasia, while at the same time not wanting to rock the boat with the US. If China weren't supporting the NK Regime, that role could have been fulfilled by China. But that geopolitical role should ideally be filled by Russia.

Maintaining balance in the rest of the world, sometimes requires underlooking bloody methods. We can advocate for Russia to abide by human rights and by INTL law, but we would gain nothing through antagonizing Russia or by joining our European friends in an Anti-Russian crusade.

    I try again.

There's this video game wherein you get to build what is called a "civilization". You play the role of a god-king of sorts, where you get to make very unrealistic decisions such as what will be invented/discovered next, what kind of culture your society will pursue, which kind of government the people of your society will be subjected to, and so on. When playing that fantasy game, you get the feeling that you can dominate the entire world. The feeling is similar to the one many people who contemplate world politics get when they imagine themselves making decisions posters in this thread imagine themselves making, or the feeling one suffering from Grandiose delusions must experience.

I will continue to share my opinions, regardless of what you think about them. So you can 'try' as much as you want. It won't change anything.

What they are doing should never be released to the public as it would also be seen by those in Russia, N. Korea and China. Any tactical plan should never be told to the American people at least until it is implemented and in some cases not even then. Do you really think we should tell the Russians what our plans are in dealing with them on their aide to the Taliban? Should we tell N. Korea what we are going to do to stop their efforts to use nukes? Should we tell China what we are going to do to stop their encroachments on neighboring lands? If you answer yes to any of these then you clearly don't understand that "loose lips sink ships".
