There seems to be a concerted effort to avoid awkward truths by simply posting TDS after anti Trump posts. This is the same tactic which was common a year or so ago when the response to difficult posts was to shout "FAKE NEWS". It's lazy and dishonest and does nothing to facilitate open debate.
It is a tactic, and not a very effective one. But you left out their favorite excuse, the old Trumpster Two Step. Post anything about Trump and watch how long it takes for them to try and derail the thread into something aobut Obama or Clinton. The other favorite is the claim that there is nothing to the Russia story because the President hasn't been impeached.
