Gay Marriage, I feel, was the very crest of the slippery slope. Putting homosexual relationships on a par with what "marriage" was intended to be gives the notion our entire culture accepts it as normal......not true. Anything goes now. Homosexual relationships have always existed for those so inclined. They are a culture unto themselves and should come up with a different term other than marriage but.....they want to break down the family and confuse the children.

 

I don't know. Why don't you name a few Dem Reps who are 'deviants' in your opinion. The GOP has their share of some weird reps, so there is that.

Is LGBT (who OP defines as 'deviants') more likely to vote Dem? Yes, because the alternative is openly hostile towards them.

The real question is why the GOP is 100% obsessed with gays and transsexuals to a point where they rarely talk about anything else? To me that's a bigger question than why Dems would try to protect their rights as citizens.

I think the whole topic will dissipate as fast as Hillary's hard drives and Bengazi the day she lost the election. Political pandering at its best. Label LGBT as deviants and then label the whole party as such because they defend their rights.

Personally I am more "live and let live" kind of person. I feel no need to smear anyone or frame them for things they haven't done, but thats just me.

 

I agree that they have a culture unto themselves, which is why I get PO'd at this pronoun thing. I have not interest in treading on your egg shells. If I don't use the right pronoun, tough. Live with it.

The marriage or relationship thing is something different. Some gays can't stand kids and make negative remarks about "breeders." On the other hand, I have seen gay couples who have made wonderful parents. There nothing hard and fast about this. A child is much better off in a stable home, be it gay or straight.

That may or may not be partially true. I have a niece that had a fatherless upbringing, We were involved in her life and her life was tough. She was a compulsive eater among other things. She decided to marry a butch and together they adopted a child. My question is this, do they model the ideal relationship of a man and a women that can procreate and are the foundation of a real family? That is what marriage is all about. Theirs is not a marriage....it is something else. Sure, a lot of marriages fail and I hate that fact. Our culture needs to expound on the "virtue" of real marriage. It is hard work and not just a cheap brand of "love". Instead we do the opposite of that and redefine it using our own shortcomings as an excuse!

 

Why just Dem reps? I’m talking about the entire Democratic Party. Like a circus full of carnies.

I would be a bit more worried about deaths that might come from this rather than some imaginary threat

 

We are talking about widespread policies within the Democratic Party which is supporting then entire LBGQ +++ community There does not seem to be a perverse sexual behavior that the Democrats don’t support, other than rape.

Quite frankly as she is an “evangelical” I find her behaviour waaaaay more disturbing than any LGBTQI “agenda”. Show me where the LGBTQI communities are actively trying to “recruit” “normal” people.

They are in the schools with their drag shows. They are going after the most vulnerable and impressionable people, young children.

Disney is sticking subtle messages into the cartoons they broadcast on their Disney + channel on the Internet. Once more children are the target.

I support “age appropriate” content. Ron DeSantis as been criticized for the so-called “Don’t say gay bill.” That bill was directed toward content for k through third grade children.
