The thing is they never really defend him, not in my experience anyway. I write some pretty sharp criticisms of Trump, and I base those article on facts. His fans rarely question anything in the OP's. They change the subject to Obama, Clinton, Democrats, anyone but Trump. They don't say a word about the OP that was critical of Trump.

    That's been my experience, anyway.

Great, then your support of Trump should be based on what he does, not what he says. That is all I ask.

Yup, that's what they do. On merit, Trump is impossible to defend.

Yes but, your 'literary license' seems to exceed all known reality IMO. Obama also used heavy doses of literary license...Do you feel the same about him?

And the same kind of reasoning the left is using in accusing of Trump of colluding with the Russians to overthrow the election.

Yeah and the left's support for Russian/Trump collusion came from Christopher Steele a former British spy that hates Trump. The Dossier on Trump was fake but he peddled it to the Trump-hating bureaucrats in Washington in order to get a FISA warrant to tap Trump. Obama is heavily involved an I hope he gets prosecuted. Probably not but I wish....

Why do you think the White House is dishonest? Perhaps they are the honest ones...Did you ever think of that?

I appreciate your understanding. I know I can be little wordy at times. I have this nasty habit of explaining myself before readers get a chance to ask.

I am sure we will be able to agree on some things, maybe even Trump sometime in the future. It just depends on how long it will take you to come around.

    Just kidding.

I am a card-carrying Republican. In my view, the last decent President we had was George H.W. Bush. I remember his courage and constraint in the First Gulf War. I remember the yellow ribbons. He was succeeded by a clown named Clinton, and we have gone down from there.

We hit bottom with Trump. Even his fans, like you, can't defend him. All his fans like you can do is answer with wisecracks and personal insults. Never anything substantial. Never a challenge to the criticism Trump received. Just meaningless gibberish.

    Like your post.

Wise up. Trump is playing a huge joke on all of us. Review the OP. You will see.

I hope you're right. I hope too that his ego can take letting the joke go.

Not very hopeful at this point.

I am not an Obama fan. More important, he is not the issue here. Trump is. Of course I might be wrong, but I think my "literary license" hit home with a lot of Trump fans. I sure hope so. They need to wise up, and sooner is better than later.

There is substantial evidence that members of Trump's staff colluded with the Russians, and that would include statements from Trump himself during the campaign. In addition, for three months Trump denied that Russia even interfered in our elections in the face of a mountain of evidence that Russia was guilty. If his staff was innocent, why did he do that? He was the only one on the planet who thought the Russians didn't do the hacking. In addition, there is plenty more evidence, including the fact that many members of his staff met with the Russian ambassador during the election campaign.

I don't know Steele, and I haven't heard that name in months. Trump's accusers are not using Steele. Trust me, I am one of them. Trump's accusers tossed Steele of as a nut case months ago. You didn't know that? You haven't been following this issue very closely, have you?

White House dishonest? Sure it is. Trump has not provided one shred of evidence to support his wild accusation. The White House has not provided any intelligence, including the Justice Department. The Justice Department was put on notice by Congress to reveal their evidence. The DOJ did not comply with the deadline and asked for an extension. The two leading members of the House Intelligence Committee said there was no evidence. In essence, the President lied. The two leading members of the Senate Intelligence Committee said there was no evidence. In essence, the President lied. The three sources for Trump's screwball accusation were entertainers.

Is the White House dishonest? You damn betcha.

I got a question for you. When are you going to wise up? This is all a big joke to Trump. Want proof? He made a joke of the whole matter in front of a national TV audience at a press conference with German P.M. Merkel. Look at the video, Ha-ha.

I don't know if its a joke exactly, but when a grown man goes on tv and says he "well endowed" one would naturally think he has issues.

Neither am I. At some point Congress is going to have to rein him in because he won't rein himself in. His ego is too huge. It takes one with a super sized ego to run for President as a joke. The way he treats the office tells me he thinks this is all a big joke. He vacations in Fla nearly every weekend. He went on the campaign trail for 2020 again last week. He is doing so again this week. He gets out of Washington every chance he gets. He doesn't want to work there.

His signature campaign promise, repeal and replace Obamacare, is in serious trouble in the House. Today, a Fox News reporter told us the White House was working feverishly over the weekend to cobble together votes. The bill is supposed to hit the floor Thursday. Where is Trump? Vacationing at his resort in Fla.

That tells me, despite all his rhetoric, he doesn't care.

His sycophants keep covering for him, but that can last only for so long.

OP is reminiscent of a ninth grader's social studies essay, could have written something just like it way back then. Thanks for the nostalgia.

Why does that surprise you? There is obvious bias in the media. Anyone who is objective doesn't like it. You don't have to be a Trump supporter to be disgusted with the way the U.S mainstream media operates. Of course Trump's supporters often change the subject, they expect from you to show that you are unbiased and criticise many criminal actions committed by Obama, Clinton, Democrats. Which you never do by the way, so they dismiss people like you as just another biased.blind democrat or liberal who cannot get over Hillary's defeat. You need to take a hard look at yourself before you start criticising Trump supporters. They are no worse than Obama worshipers on this forum.

Blah, blah, blah. You guys are like Chinese torture; blabbing us to death. I know you are just parroting like a good little drone and did not actually listen to Mark Levin. If you had you would know his entire show was quoting and reading from the media, mostly NY Times. (Though you wouldn't care...)

2005's return was in Trump's best light you say. And you know that how? I guess through divinity where you guys get all your facts. Trump sneaked around the back alleys to deliver his return to some unknown reporter??? Yeah, that sounds like the way Trump operates, huh?

What sets Trump apart is that so far he is doing exactly what he promised as a candidate. You guys have no idea how to handle that. So you wave your arms and bay at the moon.

None of those three are entertainers, any more than the NY Times and WAPO are.

Per the Justice Department, the FBI, and NSA there is no, zero, nada evidence of such collusion.

I was talking about when he said he and Merkel had something in common, implying they both had been wiretapped by Obama. He smiled broadly and the reporters got a good laugh. It was an inspiring moment in American history, joking about a President accusing another President of a felony and everyone laughing about it.

Regarding Trump's ludicrous accusation against Obama, can you believe it, he is doubling down again. He insists on making a complete fool of himself. He tweeted, "FBI Director Comey refuses to deny he briefed President Obama on calls made by Michael Flynn to Russia."

The tweet suggests Obama -- and by extension Comey -- could have been the source of leaked information about meetings between Flynn and Russian Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak that eventually led to Flynn's resignation. There's no evidence to back up that suggestion, either. He won't apologize for his wild accusation, so he does what he and his fans always do when they have lost the high ground, change the subject.

He just won't let it go. He continues to drag himself down along with his agenda.

This is all a big joke to him.

Well, I consider them entertainers, well-informed entertainers, but entertainers nevertheless. Of course, the Times and the Post aren't entertainers. They are newspapers, Silly.

I am sure you see my point. With all he has at his disposal, it takes a pretty dumb President to rely on news commentators to make a serious accusation against a former President, a felony, actually. The agencies at his disposal could not substantiate his allegation, so, he went ahead anyway. Surely, you see my point.

How much longer are you going to continue making excuses for him? This is all a big joke to him. He is enjoying himself and laughing at all of us.

Oh, there is evidence, alright. That is what the FBI is investigating. That is what Comey said today.

If you are curious about the evidence, here is eighteen minutes of it.

You people continue to take "Obama" literally when everyone knows 'Obama' means the administration. Someone in the administration is guilty of a felony prima facie for 1) recording a conversation of a US citizen for way longer than they are allowed. (The second it is known that the citizen is not involved with clandestine operations the monitoring must stop.) And 2) transcribing Flynn's conversation and leaking it to the press. Both actions are felonies.

Is Obama ultimately responsible for what goes on in his administration?
