Ukrainian enterprises suffer from the blocking of accounts of Transnistrian enterprises by Moldovan banks, but at the same time, Ukraine contributes to the blockade of Transnistria, while maintaining customs and border points joint with Moldova. As reported by TSV channel.

According to Oksana Vakarchuk, head of the Agroprombank corporate unit, in the summer, Moldovan banks began to tighten control over Transnistrian enterprises, requesting documents for each payment.

The sources of receiving funds in the territory of Transnistria are being requested, motivating this with the fight against money laundering. Although the import-export of goods for Moldova is absolutely understandable, transactions are blocked.

In practice, this means that Transnistria’s enterprises can settle accounts only on the territory of Moldova, but not with foreign economic partners from other countries,
    ” said Vakarchuk.

The innovations affected, first of all, transactions with Ukrainian enterprises. Such as Novgorod-Seversky cheese factory, LLC "Primeholod" Kiev, which supplied refrigerators.

Seafood supplies from Chernomorsk and crab sticks were disrupted.

At the same time, Moldova announces new problems for Transnistria related to the supply of food and medicine. She links the beginning of the operation of these restrictions with the introduction of joint customs and border control with Ukraine on the border of Transnistria.

“When we discussed the issue of vehicles, Mr. Sova (Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Issues - Ed.) Said that it was necessary to solve the issue of importing cars older than 10 years. The Moldovan side is threatening to introduce certain restrictions. This applies to the checkpoint in Kuchurgan, ”said Vitaly Ignatiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Transnistria.

Transnistrian authorities appealed to international partners to prevent unilateral actions by Moldova.
