    Do you see a time coming in America where you might resort to violence, or condone violence, against a group, or groups of people with whom you have political differences?

    I see it as possible. Someone overthrows the government, absolutely. I don't see it as a high likelihood, but it could happen.

    OP, yes. If the dems take down the borders and flood the country will illegals, then it is going to be up to the people to defend their country. If the dems call in the guns to disarm the citizens, it is up to the people to say no to tyranny.

    This country took its first breaths using violence. Violence can be a very good thing.

    But skill is needed, so that you are dishing violence out and winning, and your opponents are losing.

    There are indeed times when violence is not only an acceptable solution, but the only solution. However properly identifying the factors for reaching such a determination is another matter entirely.

    Not as long as we have a viable political system that functions to address them. As long as people can vote, and expect it to make a difference in either the long term or short term, there is no excuse. It is the population that feels completely impotent, and to utterly without any hope, that is justified in resorting to violence.

    I guess it depends. If I just don't like what you are saying or you are just passing inconvenient laws, then I won't resort to violence. However, if you are making threats to me or my family, pass laws that endanger my friends and loved ones, or you advocate destroying our society and way of life, then, yes, I would resort to, or at least condone violence.

    My first instinct was to vote No. Then on reflection, I voted other.

    There are always exceptions to the rule.

    One's definition of Yes, may be very different than another's. Violence is a dangerous concept.

    Canadian wars.

    Prohibition.
    Policemen beating up vietnam protesters.
    Black people beating up policeman.

    Sure, it's acceptable.

    Hopefully however you can find better ways.

    No. I only use violence defensively.

    Though I do see some potential futures where violence may be used against me for my politics, in which case, I most definitely will defend myself. But at that point its no longer a 'political difference', but just plain ol violent crime and self defense.

    As a last resort, but yes. If the government becomes tyrannical and is no longer responsive to the people, then we would have no choice but to take down that government and reinstate the Constitution. But as long as the government adheres to the will of the people and respects our rights then that should never happen.

    By the way, we aren't in some Tyranny like we were in the 1700's. Just because YOU LOST this last election, doesn't mean you have to pretend like the world is ending. The US military will protect this country from enemies both foreign, and domestic.

    If you want to support domestic terrorism...I wish you the best of luck on your endeavor.
