AQ is also fighting ISIS and the US and the Saudis.

One group or another is always on the rampage in Yemen.

Marxist took over in south Yemen in 1969. The 2 Yemens fought each other again in 1979.

In 1990 Yemen was reuniited... 1n 1992 food riots broke out.

In 1995 they fought Eritrea over islands in the Red Sea.

In 2000 AQ in Yemen bombed the USS Cole.

In 2002 they cracked down on AQ and expelled sympathetic clerics... They also attacked a supertanker .. cost Yemen alot of money in port revenues.

In 2004 hundreds of Houthis died when they lead an insurgency against the government.

And that's just some of it..

If you can't stop fighting each other, killing people and tearing up vital infrastructure how can you keep the oil industry running? How can you keep your ports and schools and hospitals and factories open and running?

Who is supposed to pay for that year after year after year?

This timeline is far more complete than what I can remember over the yeats.

Yemen profile - Timeline - BBC News

    www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-14704951
1918 - Ottoman empire dissolves, North Yemen gains independence and is ruled by Imam Yahya. ... 1962 - Imam Ahmad dies, succeeded by his son but army officers seize power, set up the Yemen Arab Republic, sparking civil war between royalists supported by Saudi Arabia and republicans backed by Egypt.

"ISIS Driven out of Raqqua" - despite their constant begging ("prayers") to Allah, I guess Allah is not on their side after all.

Relax, they are doing fine right now - they are raping 72 white* virgin sex slaves as we speak, and getting hammered drinking from the "rivers of wine", and being with Mohammad. See, this is one reason we are in an ENDLESS war - Islam teaches that fighting and dying for the invisible friend is ultimately a very very GOOD thing.....we're screwed.

*The Islamic texts say this, which makes Islam a racist religion.
Anytime their is a QUOTA (72) of sex partners that's either sex slavery or prostitution. So Paradise is either a sex slavery rape room, or a giant brothel.

Im not arguying that we didnt attack - right after they did, you simply said Israel attacked and Lebanon didnt, that's simply wrong, "reaction" means there was an action before.

For gods sake, you still here taking this thread off topic. I do not think the UK would consider the kidnapping of a soldier by a 'terrorist' group a reason to attack a country under a policy of causing maximum damage and ignoring the rules of war re civilians. Dress it up as you want. It was the end of any support for Israel from Lebanon. Now you are desperately hoping that the Sauds are somehow going to wreck Lebanon for you. It looks like that has fallen threw. Poor wee Israelis. Now as I said before if you want to discuss the Israeli attack on Lebanon in 2006 then start a new thread on it.
